I am a college student of George Mason University, after final exams 2 friends of mine and I went to Annandale, Virginia to celebrate over dinner. Being fairly new as a resident of Virginia, I was unfamiliar with roads in Annadale thus following my GPS and found the restaurant. It was located in a shopping center along with many other shops. I parked my car and left for dinner with friends. After dinner, which was about a quarter after 10 we left the restaurant for my car but found it missing. It hasn't been over a year since I bought my car and it was fairly new, first thought that came to my mind was it got stolen, so I dialed 911, and was given the number of Fairfax Police, so I called them and after searching they found a match to my car on Dominion Towing. I was given the number of Dominion Towing and I called. The guy that picked up my call (name Joe) show much disrespect to me when I ask him if my car was there and why it was towed. His reason for my car being tow was that I can not park on that spot after 10pm, who on earth would have known that I can not park on a SHOPPING CENTER after 10pm. I could not find the sign that warns me or others that I can not park there after 10pm. The park spots clearly fail to warn people that parking was not allow after 10pm, which of course Dominion Towing knows and set up patrols on that place after 10pm. What a great way to make money off students like me with minimum income.

I felt this towing was so unreasonable, who would have guessed that I was not allow to park on a shopping center. I called a taxi which bought me to their office, being told by the taxi driver, I was not the only one this event has occur to. Dominion Towing was described as "thief" by the taxi driver. After arriving to Dominion's office, again the guy showed disrespect to me. I am a guy with 2 girls (both international students who have no idea where we were) their office was located on a warehouse lookalike place, scaring the girls out a bit, they try to stand next to my car on their garage but the same guy (Joe) yelled at them with very disrespectful tone.

Our celebration for the end of semester was ruin by Dominion with an unreasonable tow which I have to pay $125, to make things worst we were treated with great deal of disrespect. I don't know if it's because of my accent when I was talking to the guy showing that English is not my native language but I do feel I was being discriminated against. When he said things like "this is why we have taxi here".
