Do not give money to these people or their "representatives."  Currently, they are moving from city to city, setting up shop in different shopping centers.  Their minions will ask you to sponsor a child and collect money from you.  They claim that they are giving to World Vision and Save a Children.  This is a LIE TO GET MONEY FROM YOU.  They are not who they claim to be, and when the law finally catches up to them, they will flee to Canada.  Please, if you want to donate properly, go straight to the source instead of giving money to these scam artists.  This is a triangle scheme, built upon lies for these losers' wallets.  I guarantee their operations will be shut down within this year.  Inform the police.  Warn your friends.  Don't fall prey.

Above Comment is Wrong and a LIE!

AUTHOR: markdi - ()

POSTED: Thursday, December 04, 2014

I worked for donorworx, but before accepting the job I contacted the non-profit that donorowrx represented and was told that this company DOES REPRESENT them and the money collected goes to the non-profit. In fact, I know this is true, because every night we sent the credit card receipts and monies directly to the non-profit Fed Ex.Do you know how else I know? Because I decide to sponor three children thru this program and receive updates and pictures of my children throughout the year. If the author of this complaint has proof of his statement, then he better well show it.

Donorworx champions charities

AUTHOR: DENNIS DEGELMANN - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 11, 2013

This claim below is completely false. Donorworx is a legitimate, successful, and growing Canadian based fund raising company with operations in both Canada and the Unites States. Their business model is to create face to face fundraising campaigns to support the Charity organizations they represent. They set up short term campaigns in shopping malls, where they reach out and encourage charitable support through sponsorships and/or donations. Their clients include Save the Children and WorldVision and their purpose is to increase the exposure and efficiencies of major charitable organizations. I'm not sure what issues this person had, but the lack of detail tends to discredit the source. Do your homework before partnering with any charitable cause and help make the world a better place!

Research

Hello,

I do believe it would be fair to say that if you want to know the integrity of Donorworx, then you should call Save the Children before you make assumptions. They will be able to let you know that they are happily partnering with Donorworx. When you say that people should go directly to the source to sponsor a child... you should know that they are. They are at a booth for Save the Children. It does not get much more direct than that!

I am an employee of Donoworx who has been to several training sessions with Save the Children representatives, who are happy to teach us how to fund raise professionally for them.

I do not know who you spoke with or what was said, but I do know that Donorworx is an extremely reputable company. I am sorry if you were given an impression that is anything less.

You can reach Save the Children at 800-728-3843.

My apologies, Jace, as I must not have explained this in such a way that you are capable of understanding.

Donorworx is company hired to elicit sponsorships and donations. There are many such companies hired by agencies such as Save the Children to build donor networks. What they do is legitimate, legal, and successful.

Finding sponsors and having them sign up is in no way criminal. The financials are handled by the hiring company, not Donorworx. You seem to have missed that point entirely. As they are hired to build sponsorship networks, companies like Donorworx are paid for their work, they do not work for free as you seem to think they should.

I do hope that clarifies things for you.

So you are basically admitting that you use OTHER PEOPLE'S PAPERWORK and COLLECT THEIR MONEY, and then you CHARGE THE COMPANIES MONEY TO RECEIVE THE DONATIONS THAT ARE RIGHTFULLY THEIRS!  what a load of crock!!

Why don't I steal your paycheck and charge you 50% to get it back.

Go to h*ll, you greedy a**hole!

False claim filed

AUTHOR: Chris22 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 18, 2012

I have worked with Donorworx in both Connecticut and Massachusetts and consider this "review' to be deeply flawed, if not an intentional lie.

Donorworx does NOT collect money from anyone, so the idea that they are ripping you off and stealing your money is false.

Donorworx provides paperwork from a non-profit, such as Save the Children, and if you sign up, they pass your information on to the company for a flat fee. They do not take your information or your money for their company.

The work Donorworx does is very successful and sincere. Having worked with them from the executive level on down, I can attest that the leadership of this growing company is not and would not do what is being suggested here.

I ask that anyone who read this blatant attack, please do your own research. Donorworx is a great company to work with, and I will continue to do so.

Donorworx Inc is digusting but not unusual.  I see all types of odd companies sucking in new grads and other people who are desperate for employment, especially in Chicago.  Eventually their reputation gets to them, if they ever stick around enough before getting closed down.

The real victims in this situation are the well-meaning people who put their hard-earned money into the pockets of these criminals ("Donorworx").  CONGRATULATIONS ON BRINGING ORGANIZED CRIME UP A NOTCH, donorworx inc.  And may you be punished by the government to the fullest extent.

This company is going to hell (or at least prison).  I can't believe they are exploiting such sensitive issues for their own greed and gain.
