This company, really person - has managed to get money from individuals who want to model... Never giving them the items they pay for (ie: comp cards, photos, etc.) Fashion shows are told the payment will be deferred, then never come through. Then when you start to investigate on the situation, you are either fired, lied to, lied on, threatened, or "sued" (yeah, just told you will be sued...) or given the run around. It has recently come to my attention that I am not the only person who feels cheated by this agency. If you feel, as I have, that you have been scammed by Ms. Kivah Harris/The Elayna White Model Management Firm/Havik Enterprises LLC/STRUT etc., please take the time to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It only takes a minute and doing so will help ensure that we all get our money back/money that she owes or that legal action will be taken towards that goal. The firm is not listed in the directory so you will need to fill in all of the information yourself (name, address, phone number etc.). If Ms. Harris or any person has tried to accuse you of slander/libel/defamation of character etc., as she has with me, do not worry.

Defamation is the difference between fact and opinion. Statements made as "facts" are frequently actionable defamation. Statements of opinion or pure opinion are not actionable. In order to win damages in a libel case, the plaintiff must first show that the statements were "statements of fact or mixed statements of opinion and fact" and second that these statements were false.
In order to win (or even file) a case she would first have to prove that it was not just your opinion and she would have to prove that the statements you make are false... which something tells me she would probably have a very hard time doing. In my opinion, it seems like she wants you to be too afraid to do anything about it. Stand up for yourselves, and make sure anything you say or write is CLEARLY stated as your OPINION.
As for any threats to your well being, please DOCUMENT these occurrences... even if its just by writing down the date and time.

This letter is written on the behalf of Kiva Holly. I have known Kiva personally and professionally for approximately 10 years. Kiva has always had a positive attitude and the first to go out of her way to help people. A huge heart full of compassion, volunteering her time and support to friends and family, and basically anyone in need. Kiva is faithful, loyal, and hard working and always has something encouraging to say at some of the most difficult times. As a Professional, Kiva gives her all whether it benefits her personally or not. She is committed to excellence and portraying the best image possible. Kiva has orchestrated,organized and managed several events from very small to very large and does it all with great confidence and pride. Whether it's Beauty Pageants, Dance Recitals, Interviews, Coordinating schedules, routines and people, she always does it with a smile and in the most calm and collective manner. I admire her ability and strength and give great respect to all of the goals that she has accomplished. I myself would trust Kiva to assist me with my personal as well as business endeavors knowing that Kiva will handle every aspect with care that would best represent me and my company not only for my business but also as my friend.
