Before anybody jumps to conclusions, I am not asking for money back neither am I slandering inviduals personal quality of life. I am just giving insight to what kind of scams are out there in the modeling and entertainment industry in the DC, MD, VA region.

As young man trying to beef up my portfolio and gain connections I did graphic design, photography and video production work for the modeling agency in hopes of having a fully paid partnership. Keep in mind, they're a start up I met through a modeling friend that was with them. In the beginning, the models were fun to work with, but they became unproffesional, were late to photoshoots and weren't paying the full VIP packages. So they're way of getting put on was paying for the cheapest package and yet the models wanted to get VIP treatment. Some wanted to pay with sex. No way. Most models were females, which started having transportation and babysitter issues. No I'm not sexist. Week by week, the CEO's attitude got worse with me and the models. Eventually I went my own way because it was not going as planned. We weren't making enough money and as good as my work is, I didn't want to be associated with them anymore. I took all work off of their facebook, twitter, youtube and shut down the website I made for them. For about 4 months , the CEO had left jealous and threatening emails, voicemails, and texts saying "It's my work." It's all backed up on external harddrives meaning it's my property. A great amount of time flies by then a year later I get voicemails from the CEO using a private number about being taken to court. I was never paid, and their stuff was never trademarked. After doing my research, they never got the LLC registration completed. The company is ran by just one person living off a pipe dream who can't pay anybody up front. She tries to partner up with other media companies so she can use their resources for free.

Main reason why I left is that they were using big names like BET, MTV, VH1, and some well know fashion icons on event flyers without their knowledge or permission. That's how the CEO conned vulnerable models. Bad business strategy and practice. We were getting calls from left to right from companies who discovered we used their trademark to raise money at night club venues. That made me very upset. Worldstar hip hop would never show up if we didn't pay them. I wasn't going to court for that. Eventually I got my degree and run my own multimedia company.

Warning to all models, photographers, designers and video producers. If you come acroos this company, don't work with them whether you're experience or brand new to the industry.
