Before you sign up with this company read the reviews first. I wish I had.

First the agent layout all the discount rates. I asked him about the discount rate for rewards card and corporate card. He mentioned they are less than 3% which I though it was good. He also said that Evolution Bankcard will have the money in the back by the next day; they tokk 3 days.

The problem I have with this company is that after processing 2 credit cards the discount rate turned out to be 4.64% and 9 days after I started doing business with this merchant they charge me all the extra monthly fees. They don't even wait a month like other companies do. On top of that I got charge double gateway fee.

I waited 27 minutes on the phone to talked to customer service and the only think he could do was to refund me the gateway fee. I'll wait and see if I get the gateway fee back.

To all the small business like mine, stay away from them. I do not recommend Evolution Bankcard at all.

As someone who has to do trade in for my company, I can tell you this. There is ALWAYS a disclaimer. YOU may not have seen it. But its there. Also they DO NOT have to honor ANYTHING on their website IN THE STORE. The reason is that in store and website prices and policies WILL differ.

They are probably offering a $150 discount on more then just a "printer". When you find the disclaimer, it will spell out EXACTLY what qualifies for the $150. Your biggest mistake was that you DEMANDED that they honor it. As a website is setup in a different state, the state YOUR in may not allow you to qualify for the discount. You might also take into consideration whether or not THIS Staples is participating in this offer. If they are a franchise then they are not held to the same standards as the corporate stores.

Im not saying you shouldnt continue your fight. But there is nothing worse then the embarrasment of showing your arse fighting for something if you are IN THE WRONG. You might wish to take this up with Staples district office. If they cant explain it to your satisfaction contact Staples corporate customer resolution. But if they explain to you the WHY they couldnt do it, dont be a j****** and demand that they honor it if they cant. Thats self entitlment. We have enough of that in everyday life for the American Consumer.

There could be a VERY good reason they dont honor the $150. It could be the style or condition of the printer you brought in. But find out first.
