Firstenberg Machinery Andrew Firstenberg Rip-off company doesn't pay for equipment it sold Richmond, California

Several months ago we sent a large and valuable consignment of surplus laboratory equipment to this company to sell for us.

They made a good first impression but that's all we got!  He did sell some of our equipment but much of it sits in his warehouse.  

After months and months of chasing, we received token payment for some of the equipment sold.  We received multiple promises to follow up with payment  for the balance but he failed to deliver every time.

His excuses include all the usual BS: e.g. "my salesman is sick", "my customers didn't pay me", "cash-flow is tight this month" yada, yada, yada.

We can all appreciate that times are hard - however the owner lives in Moraga (an upscale City in the SF Bay Area), drives a new Porsche and has several others tucked away under tarps in the back of his warehouse.  Its a shame that there is not behind all that "front" and that he appears to be funding it with unpaid debts.
