The seller offered to sell an unlock code in order for my iPhone to use an international SIM card.  I paid $168 and waited for over a month without being delivered any unlock code.  The seller claims that refund is illegal and that I will have to lie about my purchase experience in order to receive it.

After I told him that I couldn't lie, he sent several emails to threaten me with legal actions and accused me of supporting terrorism.

Agree with Mr Cbhattac. It is unfortunate that the buyer is not satisfied with the service but one the other hand, he dint loose anything and got the refund. Buyer and Seller can continue lingering on this with allegations and but i personally don't see any point now. The positive aspect is that the buyer got his money back.

The legislation prohibits unlocks without the carrier's permission or "unofficial unlocks". The seller sold me and other of his victims, "official", "factory-permitted unlocks". However, the seller used that legislation to deny refund and that is unethical. The seller never intentionally refunded me. It was done by eBay, pitying my ordeal.
I would like an apology from the seller for:
1. Refusing to refund on failure to deliver the service.
2. Defaming me and accusing me of harassment and supporting terrorism.

I have been watching the postings and want the buyer to understand that the US Legislature passed a law on January 26, 2012 prohibiting the unlocking of cellphones.  Therefore, any transactions prior to this date were already in process which may have been very difficult for a company to execute orders and close by the January 26, 2013 date.  So, what I'm saying is what is done is done and both buyer and the company need to work towards a solution rather than the continuous posting which is not resulting in a workable solution.  The buyer needs to state exactly what it is he wants at this point when the company has stated you have received a refund.  The terrorists accusations need not be a part of these postings stick to the issue and resolve through effective communications with the company.  In my opinion it seems as though this resolution was complete with your refund.

To the seller: please stop asking irrelevant questions.  You've refused my refund after your failure to deliver the service I purchased and paid in full.  I have tried to communicate meny times with you before filing the report.  Afterwards, eBay heard my case for the second time and forced the refund without you agreeing to it.  You've repeatedly sent me emails threatening legal actions and falsely accusing me of supporting terrorism in most of our communications.

I filed the case here specifically to complain that the seller never intentionally refunded my payment after his failure to deliver the service I purchased.  I communicated with the seller for several days and never received the promised refund.  Below are some of his emails:

3/5/2013-The seller emailed: Frank leave us positive feedback. We will refund money no questions asked. 
3/6/2013-The seller emailed: Frank, If you leave us positive feedback we will help. 
3/7/2013-The seller emailed: I went through all messages and now remember your case were you reported we asked you for feedback to refund. Your intention were not good and after you lost the case you called. We will have to review your request again. We ate not sure hat you are stating in your message 

My refund was processed eBay's customer support, after hearing my complaints for the second time.  eBay's buyer protection policy at present does not cover purchases of services.  I suspect that the seller is clearly aware of this fact since there are many other similar victims such as myself.  I have nothing personal against this seller.  I only wanted people to know about my negative purchase experience.

I have only one request to the seller: Refund the payments of all the services that you never delivered.  A few thousand dollars are not worth the fire you have to take from angry victims, even if eBay's current policy shields you from unwilling refunds.

I wholeheartedly hope you be an honest seller and wish you all the success when you are.

1. I filed the report to reflect the seller's fraud in which he refused to refund after failing to deliver the service.

2. eBay originally ruled against my case which was escalated by the seller.  However, eBay eventually reversed it when I spoke and explained my ordeal to eBay's customer support.

3. I did receive the refund as a result of eBay reversing its earlier decision against me.  The seller never intentionally refunded my payment to the date of my report.

All other questions are irrelevant.  I do not personally know any of the persons the seller specified and have never done anything illegal against the seller nor published anything that is not publicly available.  I have never threatened,  harassed or defamed him.  The seller, however, continues to falsely accuse me, without any proof, of being associated with terrorists and of harassing and threatening him.  The seller also asked me to lie in eBay's feedback system about my negative purchasing experience before he would refund.

Seller's False Accusations

The seller never intentionally refunded me.  I opened the case on eBay to communicate with him after the service was not delivered. The seller escalated my case to eBay's customer support, knowing that I would lose because of eBay's policy not covering services.  After I lost my case, I called eBay's customer support, explained the seller's fraud and my lost case was reversed and refund was granted.

After I received my refund I asked the seller by email and by eBay messages to demand an apology fro the fraud he committed.  The seller responded with numerous emails threatening me legal actions and falsely accused me with supporting terrorism.

I have never harassed or threatened the seller or anyone associated with the seller. I have never supported terrorism. I have never done anything illegal. To this date the seller continues to falsely accuse me of threatening/harassing him and of supporting terrorism.

Possible Terrorist Activity

We are very scared of this buyer due to his possible links with un-lawful elements. 
from Saudia Arabia, Oman and Brazil.

We have requested buyer not to communicate with us and requested them to not harm us numerous time. We have fear of our life. 

We are not here to judge if someone is innocent or guilty.  The owner of report is in China and states he is a US citizen. We have informed the Chinese/American Consulate. 

These are facts on this case.

Based on above facts as a courtsey a refund was issued to the buyer already on March 6th 2013. We don't understand why the buyer continues to harass us and claim we did not refund. Most importantly has put our personal number on the internet as a result of which we continue to receive blocked calls all day long. 


It is our humble request to help us provide security as this has put our family in danger. We ask a simple question did the buyer get a refund or not? We simply refunded as we did not want to deal with any un-lawful elements in best interest of everyone. 


We are happy to correct any situation for sake of safety of our family.
