HSE Securities JJ Howard Very kind regional manager is in fact elaborate Scam Artist with pregnant wife St. Petersburg, Florida

I posted my resume on several job search engines and one day received an e-mail to come in for an interview for an Office Manger position for a company called "Titan Securities Inc." After the interview I received a call the next day to come in for paperwork and with a $199 check for the online training package (almost like an online college course). Orientation was scheduled a few days later.

There were 8 other people at orientation and JJ Howard (regional director) ran the orientation. He congratulated us saying we were the only 8 out of over 500 candidates that chosen. He claimed to have lived in 48 states over the course of his career and made over $800k last year (should have recognized the red flags). His pregnant wife would back him up.

Then he said he would see each of us at our final evaluation at the end of training... this never happened. He promised at each of the 6 training sections we would get paid and at the end be paid between $800-$1200 pending on our quickness.

After a few weeks no money came and e-mails/phone calls were not being returned. A few days after that the site was suspended. After contacting someone who was also duped out of money from JJ told me that he skipped out of the company and apparently he is wanted in 17 states. Him and his wife keep changing their names and company names to avoid be caught.

Watch out for these scams. Should never have to pay a company that is hiring you. Hey, you live and you learn.
