This Cabinet maker is nothing more than a very slick Deceiver. Very bad workmanship and unskilled makers to make our Cabinets that we paid approximately $80,000 for!

Steve Hanford is supposed to be a "Miele" appliance dealer, and claims he is "turn key" with his services. No way.
He dropped off expensive "Miele" appliances that he ordered on our behalf, and was supposed to expertly and professionally create cabinets that actually fit these appliances. 

However, the double ovens did NOT fit the cabinets he designed and built for them! So, here you have a con man who not only builds below-grade Cabinets, charges for A+ work but delivers D- work, but he has the ignorance and arrogance to drop off Cabinets that do NOT even fit the appliances that he is the dealer for!

We had to hire a Handy Man company to cut the cabinets for the double ovens to fit, and then to re-build two sets of doors that also did not fit!

We had paid this horrible, deceitful man IN FULL [big mistake] after he promised to "make the changes" that we saw needed to happen upon his delivery of Cabinets that looked badly made from the start.

Normally, a homeowner should be happy to see their cabinets. I was, on the contrary, practically in tears and in a panic. The cabinets had the WRONG hinges [cheap, euro-hinges and not the old fashioned butt hinges per the design of the cabinets themselves] and the doors did not appear to fit properly. Then he convinces my husband to "just give [him] a check]"during his Cabinet drop-off and made it clear he would take care of our concerns later.

This is a very common game that the con artists play with innocent homeowners. They want the money, and they have no plans to make anything right or to compensate the homeowner anytime in the future. They are "gone" in their mind once that check gets cashed, and their promises disappear along with your final, good faith payment with such agreements.

NEVER give a check to any contractor, cabinet maker, etc., with verbal promises to fix things in the future. Never do this. It is a trick to get your money and split. Attached are some photos of the Cabinets already falling apart in a household of two highly educated, white-collar professionals who care for their property with absolute meticulousness.

Do not trust this company. We had a bad experience with him and we are honest, paying customers. We did not deserve such game playing, outright lies, deception, and bad workmanship. No one deserves this when paying such high prices for their Kitchen. 

We would have gotten better quality and workmanship [and servicing] from Ikea or even Home Depot for a lot less money. 

People deserve better than this. Homeowners work hard for their money, and we certainly deserve value for our investments in our home along with honest work from anyone who offers a service for such expensive renovations.
