Hispanic Professional Networking Group ,HPNG, Ali Curi, President & CEO Refusal to pay for Photography Services Jersey City, New Jersey

I am an independent photographer in New York City who has not been paid for photographs
taken this past August 27th, during HPNG's Third Annual Latino Leadership Conference.
In the public sphere, HPNG's mission is to assist Latinos in networking to find jobs. Privately,
though, the reality is very different, since the organization's President and CEO, Ali T. Curi, has defiantly cheated me in business.

I covered the August 27th event as agreed, photographing Mr. Curi and participants, from 10
a.m. To 7 p.m. I delivered 370 images to Mr. Curi. Mr. Curi posted my images on line, but refuses to pay my fee.

When I delivered the images to Mr. Curi, he gave me a check. Then, Mr. Curi stopped payment on
the check, explaining that he had been a victim of identity theft, and he would pay me by the following week. That payment has not yet happened!

I contacted Mr. Curi a number of times, requesting payment. His only response was to laugh, and
dared me to take him to court.

So I took Mr. Curi to court, and he has been summoned twice (on October 16 and December 4). He
did not shown up either time, and the physical address he has on file simply does not exist. I posted the court date on his Facebook page, and sent it to his email. Even though he replied saying he had gotten
the notice he still did not show up in court. He was again summoned for February 2013, and this time, he received the summons face to face, at HPNG's recent holiday party.

It doesn't make sense that HPNG is accepting grant dollars to further their networking mission,
when the organization's CEO does not act honestly in business.
