Not only are their products not as advertised, they do not stand behind them.

I purchased a wind turbine and it stopped working the first week.  I contacted Tony, the owner and he is so unhelpful and rude.  I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and dishonest. He talks to his customers like they are dirt and will avoid you, lie to you and not help you if you have any problems.  His products are made in China, like so much these days but they are no different than  most others on the market.  The only difference is you will be dealing with an unethical, rude and dishonest company and owner.    I have read the comments posted here and entered with an open mind, but it starts to lead to where theres smoke there is fire. The responce by the company is very unprofessional, to treaten legal action and relating I.P. address etc shows the calibre of who you are dealing with.

  I also have mailed  (the)"Tony" guy on three occassions to purchase the Storm generator and if he could send me a shipping cost. The item is listed for a $999.00  plus freight to a over a sea's location (Australia), so not a $ 2.00 self exploding diode. I have't had the courtesy of a single responce!!!. SO, you guys say  BUY American!! ...well I can assure you that any quirey to a Chinese company has an immediate polite  responce ...so you guys have lift your game, the Chinese are killing you hands down with cost ,freight and MOST of ALL ...common courtesy

I am in the office working when this came across. I do not have an e mail from anyone wanting to buy a wind charge nor have a received a call and I am sitting by the phone. I do understand that competitors post on these thing to make them appear more relevant to google....if you are a real customer give me a call and we will take care of you....otherwise I assume this is another jealous competitor. Of course your can see an e mail of hurricanewindpower@yahoo.com . or Tony@hurricanewindpower.com and the phone # 540-761-7799? ...you guys have fun we have work to do!

I attempted to contact "tony" via his website as I'm ready to buy a windcharger.

I was impressed by his website and such.

In fact, he doesn't reply to potential customers, nothing !  Not a peep !

If he doesn't care when someone wants to actually spend money with him then I doubt seriously that he will be responding when someone has an issue.

So much for him.

I, for one, wish you well.  Even though I read this site for great entertainment, it is indeed a sleezy operation.

It apparently has not (at least so far) met the legal definition of extortion, but it sure looks like it to us lay people and it's pretty darn close.

   You have claimed to have obtained the IP address of the competitor who supposedly posted the original complaint.   You claimed to have accomplished this in a matter of hours.  People who know how these things work know that you were not being truthful about that.

   Whether the original complaint is true or not, I have no idea.

IP addresses

  Anyone can send an email.   You implied that you had the IP address of the person who posted this complaint.   I'll bet you don't.

  When a complaint is posted on this site, a business may get numerous emails from scam companies offering to "fix" it for a fee (which they can't).    The emails (and IP addresses) that you have are not necessarily connected to the original poster.   

  If you were going to pursue this legally, you'd have to get the IP address of the original poster of this complaint.   You said you knew it, but until a subpeona is issued to this site, no court is going to take your word for it.    That's why I called BS on your legal threat.   I have been working on the Internet since before it was called the Internet.   I know how IP addresses work.

I obviously have a good reputation...so when I start receiving e mails from people...stating they will remove my" rip off" report for a fee........I was mad as hell. Especially when I have not received a customer complaint.  I think this whole thing is a scam. So yes if there is a customer with a broken product please upload a receipt.Doubt that will happen but we will see.... Of course I have the ip.....it is easy to reverse look up an IP from an e mail address address. Google it....not exactly rocket science.I received suspicious e mails from people trying to solicit personal details right before this thing came out. So ...The origin of the e mail was Sunnyvale California where I have not even sold a turbine. So yes I get your point...no I do not need to put multiple responses out here......No I do no much care about this anymore because I know it is a fraud. No I am not paying one red cent to any extortionists to try and bury this. No I do not care what you guys on this board think nor am I trying to convince any of you guys of anything ....don't feel like that needs to be my purpose in life. The next solicitation I get attempting to get me to pay 1500$ to get this BS removed will be posted in this forum

..the person lodging the complaint, and the business owner if he/she so chooses to respond.

All you really needed to do was one simple response asking the OP to prove they purchased the wind turbine from you.

But you had to go on and on with lies about obtaining IP addresses etc..just made you look bad to anyone reading the report..and hence..you gave the report some merit.

I did go to your ebay site and I grant you this...you have a good track record. One negative (seems unrelated to this report) out of 783 (to date) transactions..and no history of complaints anywhere concluded by an internet search.

So far the OP has not responded. Sometimes silence is deafening. In other words you should kick back and see if the OP can produce a screen shot of a receipt or a response to your request. Otherwise we can conclude the report is a fraud without you ranting like a madman about injunctions or whatever.

If you continue on a rant (and I can understand you may feel you were done wrong and are angry..no one wants their good business name unjustly smeared), it makes you look as bad as this report states. If you lie about legal actions against the reporter and this site..and claim you have an IP address which is not possible that you have..you will fail to impress anyone here and make things worse.

If this report is a fraud, it will be evident if the OP will not respond.

We are not paying the extortionists on this site for a "buisiness mediation" for a manufactured complaint......if their is a real issue bring it to our attention instead of filing false reports......the products are warrantied and I am going to bet you will not find the author able to provide proof of purchase. I have no customers with any broken turbine . Our Hurricane Line and Louisville are made in the USA SWEA is imported and has a 3 year warranty. We do not like spammers in our customer service e mail and real estate brokers who feel we should "give them" or comp products to them for free. So yes I am rude to them....Can anyone relate? Do you like telemarketers? This is their way  of getting revenge. Please take note I have your IP address identity and you will be served subpoenas as well as this site for posting defamatory liable  content.

We are an e bay seller Top rated with 100 percent positive feedback as well 100 percent satisfaction in our store. I understand the need for consumer advocacy but I strongly recommend to this site that you verify that the customer is actually a customer. You allow someone to post lies and deceit and have no clue if they even bought anything. .

In the unlikely event that this a "real customer"  step up and claim your warranty and resolve the issue. I have never had someone call me about our turbine not working much less declined a warranty. If you have a bona fide customer service issue call me and we will work it out. To the author If this IP address verifies 100 percent what I suspect you will be receiving a subpoena

This report was either written by a rival company or the real estate guys who are mad because we would not give them "free stuff"

If you have a problem step up to the plate and claim your warranty. If this is a malicious action taken out by a competitor or real estate company who is upset because we do not like spam in our customer service email be warned you will be served papers to appear in court

The claims made in this report are completely false. We are a top rated e bay seller with 100% feedback as well as on our website. Our Hurricane and Louisville generators are made in the USA. Our SWEA line is not made in the USA but has a 3 year warrany.

No one has contacted me about a wind generator not working nor have I had to honor a warranty on a product because nothing has broken to date. If there is a problem simply contact me to straiten it out.

As for my professionalism my "customers" are treated very well. This report however has been written by either a competitor or the real estate company that was spamming us last week trying to get free stuff.

My suggestion to this site as well as the author is to; 1 verify by receipt or proof of purchase that they are even a customer 2;if this is an actual customee claim your warranty protection if you have a broken product . 3 expedite such action as this matter is being sent to our legal department and this report constitutes liable
