ITT Technical Institute, ESI ITT Tech From A Former Employee, It's a Scam Guys! Torrance, California

Hi Guys,
I am a former employee of this pathetic excuse for a school and I want everyone to know that even employees know that this school is a scam. The recruiters get rewarded every time they sign another student up, and they will con anyone! The worst thing is, they find the poorest people and they feed off of their hopes and dreams, and then they sign them up for loans which they know will never be paid back, and then the student is in debt for life. You might be fooled by their silly commercials, but most of the graduates leaving ITT Tech are not SUCCESSFUL! Luckily I was not in the recruiting dept because I couldn't have lived with myself having to con people out of money. Secondly, the units WILL NOT transfer to reputable universities. ITT is not accredited but they don't mention that to you when they sign you up for classes. I know all of their little schemes and I would sell them out in a minute. Do you know that once you have completed an associates degree at ITT Tech, you will owe $40,000. You could go to a junior college and get an Associates degree for about $1000. I strongly encourage anyone who is thinking about going to this school to wake up and read the reports. Once you show that you're the least bit interested, the recruiters WILL NOT stop calling you. You will also notice that the recruiter is your best friend when you first sign up, but after the fourth quarter, that recruiter will most likely be gone because he didn't put enough rear ends in seats. Yep, the employees are fired if they don't recruit enough students! That's why a lot of recruiters will go to any length to get a student to sign up (even if that means lying and deceiving innocent people.) I'm ashamed to say that I worked for this company, and I currently know employees who are suing.

Not only did the students get treated poorly. I had to leave the school I was at because the treatment was so horrible. I actually transferred campuses because the Director was a tyrant. We were screamed at on a weekly basis for not placing students with jobs. Unfortunately quite a few convicts go to ITT Tech and they're extremely hard to place with jobs. We would also set grads and students up for interviews and they didn't show up! When that would happen and we would try to explain the situation but no one would listen. My department was harassed by the Director of the School and we both called the employee hotline. It was a joke. ITT cares about it's stockholders, not the employees or students. I finally quit working at ITT after three years and I can tell you that I actually felt better about myself. Every day I went to work it felt like I was working as a con artist. I knew what was happening to these students and I had no power to do anything about it. The CEO of this company should be absolutely ashamed of himself. He is most likely making quite a few students and graduates, homeless.
