Interface Talent Networking Agency, Will not honor contracts or pay back refundable deposits! (Interface Talent) Internet

I was talked into a photo shoot package through their bullying marketing tactics led by one of their sales reps (who they like to call "directors"). I gave them a $50 deposit that, according to the contract, was fully refundable if cancelled within 3 days by phone or letter. 24 hours later, I did both and requested my refund. However, it took about 4-5 phone calls to get anyone competant enough on the line to do so. Plus, they repeatedly hung up on me or transferred me to someone equally as incompetant. Finally, I got word that my check would be mailed in 30 days. Phew.

30 days later... no check

40 days later... no check

So I call them and, again, after being hung up on and transferred several times, I get a human (Evie) to tell me that the check request is recorded and processing and they are running 3 weeks behind. In the time I was on hold, I filed a BBB report.

About a week later I get a response to my BBB report that my check has been expedited. Phew.

2 weeks later... no check. We are now 70 days or so past the day I gave the deposit. I've since sent them an email and waited on hold for 30 minutes (hung up because no one was answering). I plan on trying once more time in a day or two before filing an additional BBB report.

DO NOT waste your time with this company and do not think they will refund your deposits. Thank God it was only $50 as opposed to the massive amounts of money other people are complaining about. Stay away from Interface!!!
