Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I contacted the seller through craigslist about tickets to a Jack White concert in Nashville, TN. We spoke through email several times and I ended up sending the money through moneygram. After I confronted her she said she would send my money pack after she got paid and never responded to emails after that point. Spoke to authorities in Ohio and Tennessee and they both turned my down for any help and basically told me "lesson learned". I told them I had all of her information and they still did not persue anything.

You can sidestep would-be scammers by following these common-sense rules whenever using craigslist:
DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON - follow this one rule and avoid 99% of scam attempts.
NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is likely a scammer.
