Buyers Beware! Never Trust The JewerlyRoom.... They are scam artist! They trick you to bid on their auctioned jewelery and when you think you won an item at a good price.... they refuse to send it to you! They say it is damage and reauction the item with a starting bid a lot higher than before!
This has happened more than once. I won a 16" 18K gold necklace after bidding on the online auction site, JewelryRoom.com I was sent a tcket saying that my necklace was in excellent quality with no imperctions or damage. I paid for my item and they "supposedly" shipped off my winning necklace. Several days later, I receive a letter in the mail stating that They refunded my money because the necklace were some imperfections and damages to the gold necklace! That did not sound right! How can a gold necklace have any imperfections? Let alone when the company market the necklace, it was in excellent quality with no imperfections.
I complained to them stating that I wanted to see the necklace and judge for myself. Tina sent me a letter saying that the "ring" I purchase was damaged and needed to be returned to the factory. Tina also stated that they will refund my card. I responded to back to Tina, letting her know that the ring I had already received the ring that I won in a separate auction and that it was not broken. I reminded her that I complained and requested that she send the orginal 18K gold necklace that I won, so that I can inspect it for the so called "damages and imperfections."
She refused to address my request. She still has not responded!
This company encourages you to bid on expensive jewlery and when you win the auctionand they feel that the final bid was too low or they cannot make a profit, they will notify you with a lie stating that the item has been damaged and/or have imperfections on it. Then they take that very item and raise the price so the ending bid is much higher so they can profit. They will not honor your requests to see the item and decide for yourself if you would want to keep the item or return it.
It did not happen to me once but it recently happed again when I won and paid for the "captivating 55.62 Garnet sterling silver with platinum necklace." Same thing, neckalace was damaged and they refuse your request to see the damage.
It is also ironic how this company does not have a contact phone number or fax number. They only do things by email....
Don't be fooled by these people! I have learned my lesson very well, never will I ever buy anything from them again!!
