My truck was stolen back in August this year. The State Troopers woke me up to inform me that they had found it. The gave me the info on where I needed to go and get my belongings out because the people who stole it, totaled it. Anyways I go and get my stuff out and I was telling the tow company what had happened. A few months later when I try to get my tag renewed on my car the BMV told me that Lake Jackson Tow company had put a lien on my license so I can not renew my tags until I pay them $890 in towing charges. How is that fair. I lost my truck and now they want to rip me off. My birthday is in 3 days and if I can't renew my tag, I can't go to work. I have three small children and no money to pay for something that had nothing to do with me. That's just not fair. What do they expect me to do. I will lose my job if I can't drive to work.

Means Bureau of Motor Vehicles
My ? is did you have insurance?? What is the reason you abandoned the truck? The tow company TOWED the truck - does not mean that they own the truck - that is still your vehicle -
After reading the report again I think maybe you did not have insurance therefore this is YOUR responsibility

Why is this a Rip-Off? The tow guys did thier job. Maybe you did not have full coverage? Well you now have a BMW maybe you should have paid Lake Jackson first. Tow companies get RIPPED OFF all the time by people who dump thier worthless wrecked cars on them all the time. Trucks are not free you know!!!!!!
