I purchased a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette from Landis Enterprises in Ephrata PA. in July '09. I have had to return the car FOUR times for repairs. The car would not start, would die on the road, run rough, loose all electrical power, radio presets clock, etc. This is November and they have had the car for two weeks this time. Now the transmission will not shift into third gear and bangs into fourth gear. It is an automatic transmission. After repeated calls to Teddy at Landis over the last two weeks, today I was finally told that the warranty company, NADN from Avoca, PA. did not warrant Corvettes. I was clearly told and have in writing a warranty, which I paid extra for from NADN.
I contacted NADN and was told by John that no such warranty exists. So, I have come to the conclusion that Landis Enterprises is in the business of selling phony warranties and pocketing the money.
I have hand written prices, by Teddy, showing the price with warranty and without warranty. I decided to buy the warranty for $320, which is for 6 months or 6500 miles.
I have put maybe 1,000 miles on this hunk of junk in four months. Usually it is being "repaired."
Stay far away from these Crooks, Teddy, Carol, and the elusive owner, Omar, who never seems to be able to be reached!
Awful company, the worst I have ever dealt with. These crooks should not be alowed to get away with such thievery.

I explained the mechanical problem with the transmission as well as I could. Just because I'm not a mechanical genius like you, doesn't change the fact that Landis Enterprises sold me a phony warranty and the car is a piece of junk.

You must be the elusive J Omar Landis. I am not a mechanical genius like you. I explained one of the many problems,as best I could, that have brought this car back to Landis Enterprises four times. This last time for more than two weeks now, and nothing is being done about it.
Other people are complaining about Landis Enterprise too J. I guess that's why you are so upset.
What's not bogus is that Landis Enterprises sells phony warranties and defrauds customers.
The truth hurts J, doesn't it?
