Legal Successor of Hollywood Video/Movie Gallery Ince. Trying to collect for Hollywood videos which we turned in, on time, just before they closed. Houston, Texas

They listed three videos which we had watched and turned in on time, just a few weeks before they went into closure sales only. We supposedly owe $12.87. It does not say why or what the reason for the charge is. This is the first and only notice we received. Hollywood video never said anything to us. The date of rental was three years ago.
The dollar amount is of a suspicious nature. It does not match the cost of the videos if that were the case. It also does not match the structure of the fines that Hollywood would have asked for and collected if indeed they were late, which they were not.
I think that this is a scam and this agency needs to be investigated.
