Long Fence Defective products Odenton, Maryland

Within 6 months of installation, the gate on our Long Fence privacy fence broke under its own weight. More specifically, the fasteners holding the gate up pulled right out of the PVC because the weight of the gate was too much to simply have the fasteners anchored in thin PVC.

Long Fence replaced the original gate, but the second one broke in the same fashion within the first year.

I reported the defective gate to Long Fence before Thanksgiving, and after much prodding, they finally responded in late January that they would not replace the gate because it had been damaged by the wind.

Blaming it on the wind is a pathetic cop-out and refusal to back their product.

I will never use Long Fence again and would advise any consumer to avoid Long Fence and its poorly designed product.
