I was on the Cabela's site when a short survey with a Cabela heading appeared.  I took the survey and was offered a choice of three "prizes", one of which was a watch.  I was required to pay the $5.98 shipping and handling.  Evidently I did not read the fine print, the terms of conditions, which states that you have 14 days to keep the watch or send it back.  If you do not reply, after the 14 days, they will bill you for $90.  Furthermore, they will send you an item a month and bill you each month for those items, unless you put a stop action in place.  We still live in a world where the slogan often is "the customer beware".

Cabelas is not connected to this operation and the use of the Cabela name is unauthorized.  I was guilty of not reading the small print and one Cabela customer said she could not find the small print.  Be what it may be, I think this action is if not illegal, certainly unethical.
