This City Attorney is about as crooked as they come many lawyers in the court system call him the weasel because of how sly and what he is willing to do no matter if someone is innocent or not.

I went up against him once when he tried to prosecute me and my business and tried to have me thrown in jail consequently through a long trial I was found not guilty he knows who I am if he reads this because the case left him embarrassed and acting like a pissed off child in the court room that did not get his way.

How ever the point to all this is this man should not even have a license or be a prosecutor he bent just about every rule suppressed evidence that clearly showed I was innocent, has a city clerk sign a doc that I was the guy that came in and signed for a business license on another company that he had prosecuted the previous month consequently he could not use that because we stated we are going to want to pull that clerk in under oath so Lambert dropped that evidence like it was a hot coal.

First of all he had a bail set so high on me that even bank robbers do not get bail set this high I was just a business owner with no record not even a traffic ticket. He then lied to the judge and insisted he had hot evidence as to my guilt the 1st judge kept stating I do not see what law he broke it is a state issued contract in what I can see a licensed bonded big company; how ever Lambert would keep insisting there was some amazing evidence coming up from witnesses he had...

Three judges in a row refused to allow the case so this nasty piece of work Lambert would ask to change courts each time he was in front of a new judge he would change his story eventually he asked for different venue (city court elsewhere) the last judge in the new city said OK but there better be something that is going to swing the fact I do not think this man has done anything wrong.  

Lambert then went on to string the case out bringing in dozens of witnesses who one after another basically admitted they had not followed the contract asking them to point me out in the court but each one would either not point at me or they would say no that guy was always willing to help us or they understood it was not refundable; the judge kept getting annoyed stating I still have not seen where this man is guilty of anything how ever it was a jury trial so again Lambert would lie and lie to keep the case going in the mean while passing messages onto my lawyer get your client to give up and I will make his jail term short or when I win I will get the max on him.

This bast@@d Lambert was trying to crush me financially by dragging the case out so long I would give up, I lost my house my business even my car I ended up busing it to court each day to prove my innocence all the while he kept lieing to the court even two of the witnesses were caught out admitting Lambert had said to point me out in the court room as a person that got them to sign a contract one of them even turned to Lambert and said pointing at me is that the guy you wanted me to say about?

Lambert even placed an advert in the paper stating if you have ever done business with my company that there is a court case and you are eligible for compensation and refunds if you come forward. What this did was pulled a whole new bunch of opportunist people out that wanted easy money but it back fired because when they came to court and stood on the stand they said no they were not ripped off and they were their because of the advert the City Attorney had placed and Lambert had told them if they sit as a witness they will get compensated.

The judge kept wanting to throw my case out but Lambert would throw these crazy tantrums insisting and annoyingly enough my lawyer instead of arguing would sit back and say its ok let him keep hanging him self he looks like a fool right now my lawyer had asked around and he was told Lambert is fresh and new and trying to get a name for him self. 

Many other crazy underhanded things went on by Mark Lambert but eventually I won my case jury found me not guilty the jury left the court room Lambert then tried to beg the Judge to over rule the Jury, the Judge got annoyed with him and said he had heard enough and I should never have gone through almost a year of what was probably hell.

When I walked out side Mark Lambert was out in the hall way actually raising his voice at the jury stating "How could you let him go look how many witnesses I brought in!!" One jury member responds with "the guy did nothing wrong and none of the witnesses thought so either in fact most admitted they were there for the advertisement you ran for money:"

Conclusion this man is dangerous if I had had no money I would have been in jail unable to afford to fight his lies in fact I lost everything the crazy thing was I went from a business owner with a nice car and a home to in debt no where to live no car no job but after I left that court I was so happy to be free due to the fact someone in a position like Mark Lambert City Attorney has been given the power to destroy innocent peoples lives it is plain disgusting.

And Lambert I know you are vain enough to look up your name and read this one day pray you are never running for any form of office because I swear I will be there to heavily object and tell my story of how corrupt you are and hey one other thing I am worth millions now after working my butt off for years and going with out to get back up so I have the power in my hands and older now to make sure you never get any higher than the low life you are, you know who I am remember the old statement I had my lawyer tell you during the case I do not care if you offer me one month to give up I would rather rot innocently for the rest of my life in a damp cell than state I am guilty to something I am not and endorse your disgusting lies..

I agree, this city attorney is attempting to make a name for himself. Typical for these guys who work for law enforcement.

I read the letter he sent out to the industry regarding the new laws passed in California. What a bunch of crap. I agree with our writers in saying this law, at least a major portion of it, will not hold up when challenged. This city attorney is well aware of this too. California is famous for coming up with all kinds of unconstitutional laws. More laws thrown out then any other state people. 

Listen, if someone has a beef with someone, what the hell happened to small claims court? What are taxpapers paying for? God sakes!

California businesses don't need any more regulation in California. The legislators are obviously clueless to what's going on in California.

THAT STATE OF CALIFORNIA IS ALMOST BANKRUPT!

Mark Lambert is maybe waiting for his big break?

BILLY DAMOTA (AKA:CASTBOY) IS A LOSER WHO:

1) CAN'T GET ACTING JOBS HIMSELF.
2) CAN'T GET ANY HIGH BUDGET CASTING JOBS.
3) USED TO BE INVOLVED IN PAID CASTING WORKSHOPS HIMSELF.

Actually, it's not silly;  it's really quite serious.  And here's why.

Carl Ken Carranza, the nutty author of the above-referenced Scooter Fights City Hall has, in the past few years, been found guilty of false advertising. He was fined thousands and sentenced to three years probation for his offenses. Yet, even after his conviction, he continued to violate the terms of his court order - even after warnings from law enforcement. Bad boy!

Then, just a year ago he did it again! Here are just a few of the online articles:

You'd think the guy would have learned his lesson! Sheesh!

So when people post about the new California law, AB1319 (The Krekorian Talent Scam Prevention Act of 2009), they're referring to a law that was created to stop schemes like the one Carl "Scooter" Carranza has been convicted of! 

It is my understanding that Carranza and his baby talent business have skipped town and are now operating in Las Vegas. Based on the above reports, I'd say "Good for Hollywood. Bad for Las Vegas." If you live in the Silver State, I would suggest care and caution when dealing with those who have been convicted in the past of false and misleading advertising. And then do it again. And again. What you see and/or are promised is not always what you get.

How about: Pioneer?  Trailblazer?  Rockstar? 

Sadly, the people that get angriest with the City Attorney's office are often the ones who CAN'T make their businesses work - as an actor or as a workshop - without a system that pays CDs to open doors.  Try doing something other than wasting people's time with these goofy reports, and start doing your work, and following the law.  Real work, not the lazy way forward.  Maybe then, you'll see exactly how well the law works in you favor.

As a note, do you also believe that SAG, AFTRA, the Casting Society of America, the State of California, Governor Arnold Schwazenegger, LA Councilman Paul Krekorian, bizparentz.org, the MPAA, The Better Business Bureau, most major Hollywood studios (Sony, Disney, Warner Bros, MGM, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Universal, the RIAA and local law enforcement are all imbeciles?  Because, Melody, that's just a partial list of those who support this new law.

Get busy, girl.  If you are an actor, either start figuring other ways to get in front of casting directors (who I'm sure will LOVE your attitude), or initiate a separate report on each of these organizations.  C'mon.  Put your advocacy for paying to play  where your mouth is.  Or shut up.  If you're a workshop owner, follow the law.  Your business will flourish and you'll be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams!
