I was fuming. I paid my money, and pulled up to the pickup window. I was handed my drinks, and then I asked for a manager. The manager waddled over, and she said that the girl wasn't talking about me, she was on the phone with her boyfriend and was telling a co-worker about him. I asked her what she was doing on the phone when she was supposed to be giving her attention to the customers.
Then I reminded her that the cellphone policy was visible from the lobby, and that I was familiar with it, that the workers are to turn their phones in on the beginning of their shift and will not have them available for use during! I knew she was lying and covering for the foul-mouthed teen. Then she just looked flustered. It was at this point that I told her she would refund my money, because I could not trust a bunch like them and would not risk eating anything that they would hand me. I think I can get the girl fired for what she called me, but what do you think I will need to do to get the asst manager fired for the lying?

I too quickly blow my stack when involved with service employees who have an attitude, and I've demanded a few over the years be canned, so I'm not joining the mob dumping all over this poster for nothing. When the total story is added up, it's not adding up.
The poster can't PROVE who, or in what context, the worker spoke of. The worker might have been returning to a round of rank outs with fellow employees that could have been going back and forth way before this customer came on the scene. The poster jumped to a conclusion, that right or wrong could not be proven, and nobody should be trying to get someone fired without absolute proof. Whatever the workers might have been saying to one another, as immature teens are wont to do, and the poster can't prove otherwise, was none of the customer's dad-banged business.
Do you not know what you did wrong? Are you totally unaware of your actions and how it effects others? Do you feel deep down that you are a d*ck and that's why it bothers you? I this day and age it does not pay to create confrontation anywhere. We might just read about you on hear on the news how you were shot in the face in a drive thru by some unhinged employee.

This is why I think everyone should have to spend at least one summer in food service. You learn how crappy these jobs really are, and you do not add to their misery with your lack of manners.

But here is the problem.
The OP is obviously too cheap to go somewhere else.
The fact of the matter is that any fast food restaurant you go to may at some time or another have a "sloppy sandwich".
Just stop eating fast food.
Problem solved.
Fast food, like that at McDonald's is made in assembly line conditions by mental midgets not smart enough to get a real job. These people make minimum wage, or close to it and certainly have no pride in themselves or their job, and most could care less if they get fired, as the next minimum wage job is a day away.
In recap, your original complaint is frivolous, as you order the cheapest sandwich on the menu and want first class special service in it's preparation.
Just common sense here.
I'm sure McDonald's won't miss you.
You are the "customer from hell" that no business wants.

If you think their products are sloppy, why do you keep going back to them? Simple...
All in all, it is not worth the time. I don't go to McDonald because I do not like their products.
To all of you trolls on here dogging the poster - A person pays for a product as a customer. They have a right to be treated with courtesy and have the product made to order. Anybody working for me with a cell phone in their ear while they are supposed to be taking care of customers would be fired. I personally don't want a sandwich that has been slopped together either.

You may have had a convincing report...right up until you said the following.

- You were at the Drive-Thru not inside the restaurant in the lobby..which brings up the next point. How do you not only know it is visible from the lobby, but are "familiar" with it enough to recite it to the manager to "remind" her?
Of course if you are telling the truth, you were the d*ck when you made this comment.
I requested that the cheeseburgers not have ketchup dripping all over the outside of the bun like they gave me the last time.
From your petty complaint here and your desire to get minimum wage teenagers fired from mcdonald's, i would say they were spot on. You are a dick.
