Mrs. Carolyn Gibson Pingry School Abusive Crazy Teacher Short Hills, New Jersey

That's a lovely sentiment, Singoutlouise, to forgive her because she "knew not what she did," but do not deceive yourself.  That old rattlesnake knows exactly what she did.  If she didn't, she would be capable of talking to her former scapegoated students when she met them, rather than looking away in shame.  Decent-living teachers do not have to be terrified to say hi to their former students, the way teachers who worshipped at the throne of a complete psycho like Timothy Leary do!

Pity Mrs. Gibson didn't choose her influences a little more wisely, isn't it?

I have a Mrs. Gibson story for you!

Mrs. Gibson had a beef with my parents.  I think it was pure jealousy in origin.  They did better in life than she did.  So she started saying I was this big problem child, that I was doing things I had never done in my life.  She lied.  She lies like a rug.  She convinced everyone at the school that I had "a problem," even though I didn't.  She said I had ADHD.  I didn't. 

I had to go to doctors.  I even had to get an EEG when I was just a kid, get hooked up to a machine where they monitor your brain waves with electrodes, like science fiction, which terrified me.  All for Mrs. Gibson!  All to shut Mrs. Gibson up!

The results of the test were that there was nothing wrong with me.  The doctor said the only thing he could see wrong was that school!  I got transferred out but while I was still there I was getting sick to my stomach in the morning before having to come face to face with Mrs. Gibson the Unevolved.  The only "big problems" I had were the ones she was making up to "get to" my parents!

Now I find all this written on Ripoff Report and other reports too and I am so glad that the story is finally coming to light.  Why did they give Mrs. Gibson a free trip to China?  What is she rewarded for?  Lying again maybe? They need to face what's really going on and the real character, or rather lack thereof, of the people like that who are on their faculty.  In the end it's the students who will be losing out.  This was one of the worst experiences I ever had.

Pingry does respond to these reports but in a sick way.

People complain about Mr. Richardson.  I come to find out Pingry gives him an award.

People complain about Mrs. Gibson.  I come to find out she makes out even better than Mr. Richardson.  Pingry gives her a free all expenses paid trip to China! 

People complain about the school in general.  Go onto the Pingry website.  Their latest propaganda device on there is their Strategic Plan.  If you want to laugh read it because it's a beauty.  They go on and on about their exalted history.  Ha!  Everybody who lived anywhere near there in the 70s, 80s and 90s knows that place was known as a drug den.  Some exalted history that is!  They go on and on about their Honor Code.  Yawn.  Then one of the few things they say is that they want to train and keep the best teachers.  They say nothing about getting rid of the bad ones they already have on the faculty that everyone is complaining about.  They're too busy giving the bad ones prizes and free trips half way around the world.

I can not help wondering.  Are some of the current staff members kept aboard because they know where a body is buried?
