This company will put out great catalogs with a variety of names (North Style is one name). The items look great and some are company 'exclusives.' They do not have items that are advertised.
You will place an order and OFTEN they do not have the merchandise and never intend to have the merchandise. They charge you AT TIME OF ORDER and eventually cancel your order and (when they get around to it) back charge your credit card.
I placed an order for two items, one of which was a "company exclusive" item and the order was immediately charged to my credit card (this was in AUGUST 2012). They sent the one item but backordered the "exclusive" item and never sent it. In October they offered a replacement item of similar value.. and indicated that if there was no action on my part they would cancel my order in 30 days. The correspondance had a clear underlying message or never having the item.
I have since discovered they do a lot of this.. and because they charge at time of order they get free use of their customer's money for a few months before things are cancelled or back charged.
Advertising items you do not have and never intend to have is false advertising.

When making a purchase if an item is back ordered they charge you for that item that is available and then the shipping. When the item is in stock they do ship it out to you and then they charge your credit card the catalog and web site is offered in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico and overseas the items are usually offered for 1 to 3 months so if you call when the catalog first comes out or update on online you will get your item if you wait to the end of 3 months it will be on back order and the merchant or vendor usually does not carry that item into the next catalogue. The company does not know until the vendor calls and says the item is canceled. and in the case if the vendor does cancel the item that is back order the company will ask if you want a similar item usually waive your shipping and expedited with 2 day FedEx on them. They give you the option of taking the other product and let you know you have 30 days to decide which is I believe is plenty of time to decide if you want the item or not and get back to them to let them know if you would like it and ship it out. Also when an item is backordered they cannot take the money from your credit card which is in the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page on the Internet.
