Mr. William C. Marceau refuses to pay for service of process completed by my company. When Mr. Marceau first contacted me he mentioned that he had "a summons and complaint" to serve. When I received the documents there were two summons and complaints served. I sent him an invoice for the second service and now he refuses to pay. He claims that my prices are "too high." Even though the rate was discussed before the papers were sent.

On August 25, 2010 Keith Investigations quoted $65 for one case, one service. This flat fee was sent in advance to Mr. Keith along with the documents for service in Senatobia, MS. On September 3, 2010 service was made on the defendants and affidavits were send to Northland Credit Corporation. I addition to the affidavits Mr. Keith requested an additional 32.50 which was not authorized prior to service. Northland has remitted the 32.50 to Mr. Keith with the understanding his lack of disclosure regarding two defendant service was his mistake.
