Any judgement of Oxfordtec.com in this post is my sole opinion. The facts in this post are just that, facts. HERE are the facts ---  Oxfordtec.com sold me a USB wireless adapter for my G4 Mac Mini. Their website claims that it is compatible with OSX 10.4. It took over 2 weeks to be delivered. After numerous attempts and another week trying to get the card to work, I contacted their customer service. Another few days went by and I received word from them that it was not compatible with OSX at all. The only good thing about this was that they did pay to ship that part back. They then offered to replace it with one that was OSX compatible for an additional $15 dollars, which I paid via paypal. Another few weeks went by before I received my replacement. I am a computer technician by profession. Installing a USB wireless adapter is not something that requires my expertise. Needless to say, it would not work. I went back to the Oxfordtec support to find out why this was happening and they refered me to the same documentation I had been using to get the adapter set up in the first place. Next, deciding that Oxfordtec was going to be of little use, I contact the manufacturer of the adapter. The manufacturer is Sparklan. Through six emails back and forth, with the manufacturer's help, it still was not working. At this point the manufacturer told me that I should contact the vendor for a repair. I contacted Oxfordtec asking for a refund and pre-paid shipping back to them, and they denied me the shipping costs asking me for proof that Sparklan thought that it was defective. I sent the email from Sparklan to Oxfordtec and they interpreted it in a way that would deny me free return shipping. All-in-all, I have had a computer that has had (making it somewhat useless) no internet connection for almost 3 months while Oxfordtec sent me one incorrectly advertised part, then an apparent defective part only to tell me that in order to correct this I must pay shipping just to get it back to them. Besides my time it looks like I will be spending extra money just to get back to where I had always been. Still using a computer with no internet connection.  HERE is my OPINION ---   Please beware, in my opinion, Oxfordtec.com seems to have poor merchandise, poor item descriptions and poor customer service. Good luck if you purchase from them.
