Resume My Career ... DON'T DO IT ... New York, New York

Please don't give these people your money.  I paid for the Platinum Services and received a non-metal equivalent.  I filed a report with the BBB in May.  Agreed to settle with Resume My Career for a little less than half of what I paid ($100) and here it is August and I have not received any semblance of a refund.

What's wrong with Resume My Career.  It is a complete and total sham.  They take what you give them and merely reformat it.  Geez, I could have done that.  I was looking for a professional resume not a resume prepared by me with a few (literally) words changed and a format change.  The resume retured to me by Resume My Career was three pages long.  Now, even I know it needed to be much shorter.

Resume My Career gave me a resume with typos and some formatting issues.  They offered no real concrete suggestions.  I submitted revisions and five months later, I can honestly state no one has returned a revised copy to me.  Don't bother talking to Justin -- he double talks.  I had to call and request a Thank You letter after a couple of weeks.  And month's later, I am still discovering errors in my resume that were not in the original. 

The refund issue is yet another example of the deceitful tactics by this company. They were to refund $100 to me in May in 3-5 business days.  Months later still no refund. I have emailed and called the BBB who is actively trying to resolve the matter.  Justin gave some shady excuse about needing an address to mail a check.  Hellloooo, my address is on the resume.  Yet another example of this company's shabbiness.

Word to the Wise... Don't waste your money!!!  Don't waste your time. This is a sham!
