Back in April I got an email from Rob McGovern saying he was going to pay the money it owed all of it's resume writers.  They let us all go because a company that was supposed to acquire them were "unethical".  The irony is rich.

I looked to see if Jobfox was still in operation and it looks like their "Premium Services" (i.e., the resumes I wrote) are no longer available.   I also read that the company has defaulted on their payments to Resume Writers.  This leaves me without a months rent and electric bill.  I wrote at least one resume for a Jobfox customer that Rob McGovern contracted knowing he wasn't going to pay me.  I depended on Jobfox to pay me for the resumes I wrote for their customers.  Some of the resumes I wrote have probably gotten people hired which is another irony I find rich.

Now Rob McGovern has another company and has the audacity to put it on his LinkedIn page as CEO and Founder as a company that is the "next best thing".   Nice to know he has the cash to quickly open another company and leave the rest of us without enough money to pay our bills.  I'm sure he got his salary owed to him.   More rich irony.

Rob McGovern is a liar and a thief.  He got over $40 Million dollars to start and operate Jobfox.  Now he can walk away from a company he ran into the ground without any consequences while the people who worked for him are still wondering what the heck happened. 

You can go onto the SEC website and search for "Cobrain" and you will be able to get his address so you can write to him and let him know what a scumbag he is.  In the meantime, resume writers should do whatever we can to make sure the name ROBERT J MCGOVERN and/or ROB MCGOVERN is smeared on the web and called out for the slimy little b*stard that he is.
