  Every family law case is different and depending on the complexity of the case and cooperation of both parties can take more or less time to resolve. I'm sorry that your case ended up being much more involved than you thought due to it being less amicable than you thought, I tried my best to keep your costs down to a level you could afford. We bill hourly only for work done and try to be very transparent as one of the only law firms in Alabama who openly show our hourly fees on our website. I try to keep my hourly rates fair, and in fact, depsite the fact that I am one of the only certified family law specialists in Alabama, there are many less experienced and qualified attorneys in the state that charge up to 50% more than I do. I'm not really sure what going into your bank account means as I don't have access to client's bank accounts, maybe I'm misunderstanding. As to any invoices received during the holidays, it certainly isn't my goal to bring any one down during the holidays, but I have always promised to provide my clients with a detailed invoice monthly or bimonthly so they can be informed on any balances owed or amounts remaining in their retainer.
