This individual is not to be trusted.

He represents himself as a multi-billion dollar financier.

After working for him as a direct subordinate I discovered emails generated directly from him to people that he agreed he owed... he gave them specific dates of when he would remit... and then never did. These are NOT large amounts either... less than 5 figures.

He also misrepresented our employment relationship and then reneged.

I observed him being asked direct questions and then not answering. When I called him on this pattern of behavior... he agreed... saying "I know... I choose not to respond." What person of character operates this way intentionally?

I ONLY write this report AFTER attempting to resolve the situation directly with Mr. Samuel (as he prefers to be called) He still owes me for time he reserved and then cancelled at the last minute. He refuses to acknoldege the debt. My mistake was NOT getting everything in writing before getting involved with him. Simply put... my mistake was in trusting him.

This man harmed me... however I saw his tactics early on... and did not get into a situation where I would have to trust him to pay me any significant amount. The small amount he owed and did finally pay... was NOT in a timely manner as agreed to... but ONLY after I was forced to add a significant amount of additional time and effort to collect what was due. My goal is to keep other people... who are in very difficult situations... and easily manipulated by stories of riches and luxury... from being lured into his sphere of influence. It was definitely NOT a positive experience for me.

I wish I had never answered his ad on the internet.

Samuel Bertram, owner of Ruxkira, was arrested

AUTHOR: Sasha Doe - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, May 20, 2011

I have a friend who was hired by this character. I begged my friend and convinced him not to take the job after  my friend described the comical interview, the incredibly crazy business enterprise with no credentials, and the ridiculous website. This was over a year ago. From time to time we laugh about it and do a Google check on this individual. We knew it would be a matter of time before someone took down this skeezy guy (mind you, I never met him and could tell he was not legit). Here's an update:

Business Loan
Scam Lands "Lender" in Jail

Miami (April 20, 2011) The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office and the State of Florida Office of Financial Regulation announce the arrest of Berthram Samuel for his role in a series of fraudulent business loans through his associated
corporations and companies named Rukira, Inc., Ruxkira, Inc. and Euro Fidelity Corporation.

In essence, the investigation alleged that Berthram Samuel offered to provide private financing for individuals seeking to pursue a variety of business ventures. He would lure customers in by indicating that he specialized in financing big international projects using European and other capital sources. After collecting the initial fees, labeled a "good faith fee" or an "office expense" fee, Samuel would later indicate that the loan had been secured and then request additional monies, labeled as "deposits" or "a due diligence and closing fee". After providing payment, no loans were ever forthcoming.

Berthram Samuel was being held on a $165,000 bond, charged with:

Grand
Theft 1 Count - 1st Degree FelonyOrganized
Fraud/Scheme to Defraud, $50,000 or more 1 Count - 1st Degree FelonyGrand
Theft 2 Counts - 2nd Degree FelonyGrand
Theft 3 Counts 3rd Degree FelonyUnlawfully
Collecting Advance Fee from a Borrower 7 Counts 3rd Degree Felony

"I'm very proud of the work done by the Office of Financial Regulation and Virginia Ferguson, my Economic Crimes Division prosecutor, who worked diligently to put this complex financial case together", stated Miami-Dade State Attorney
Katherine Fernandez Rundle. "In these hard times, for someone like Berthram Samuel to plot to steal people's dreams is both disheartening and reprehensible."

J. Thomas Cardwell, Commissioner of the Office of Financial Regulation, stated: "We are committed to working with our partners, such as the State Attorney's Office, to protect Florida's consumers and promote economically sound and
professional financial industries in Florida." remains in jail on a $50,000 bond.
