I placed a layaway order through KMART.COM for items to pick up  when I was to arrive in SC from VA.  About ten days after placing the order I found out a two items were delivered, which I DID NOT request.  The reason for the layaway was simply to pick the items up at one time.  The two items that were shipped were Selena Gomez boots.  

The boots never arrived at my door.  According to UPS the boots were transferred to our local USPS for final delivery.  I contacted KMART.COM to let them know these items were supposed to be in the layaway.  I was told they would reship these two pair of Selena Gomez boots. 

Needless to say after 6 weeks and hours of waiting on the phone for KMART. com and then finally calling the Executive Offices of Sears Holding Corporation, I still have no resolution, but have found out that ANY ITEM THAT DISAPPEARS DURING DELIVERY, AND IF THAT ITEM DOES NOT SHIP FROM KMART, BUT INSTEAD SHIPS DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER (IN THIS CASE THE WAREHOUSE FOR MAKER OF SELENA GOMEZ'S BOOTS) SEARS HOLDING/KMART IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF IT TURNS UP MISSING.  I AM OUT MY $80.00 FOR THESE TWO ITEMS AND HOURS OF MY TIME FROM TRYING TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

I FINALLY DECIDED IT WAS BETTER FOR ME TO JUST GIVE IN THEN WASTE MY TIME, BUT HOW IS THIS RIGHT?  KMART/SEARS DOESN'T WANT TO EAT THE COST, BUT EXPECTS THEIR CUSTOMER TO EAT THE COST.  I AM DISGUSTED BY THIS AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS IN ANYWAY WITH ANY SEARS HOLDING CORPORATION COMPANIES EVER AGAIN.  ALSO, I WILL MAKE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS SHIPPING POLICY TO ANYONE THAT WILL LISTEN.  I AM SURE THIS POLICY AFFECTS SHIPPING THROUGHOUT KMART, LANDS END, MYGOFER AND SEARS.  SIMPLY PUT THEY ARE RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS THAT HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THIS SHIPPING POLICY.  BY THE WAY, THEY CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHERE THIS POLICY IS MENTIONED ON THEIR WEBSITE.
