im writing you because i just dont know where else to turn .... my problem is with sprint the cell phone company and i feel they have the power to take advantage of the lil guy and get away with it and i would like your help or advice ...back in july 2007 i wasnt getting service on my sprint cell phone . sprint told me sorry we dont have enough towers where you are all summer so there is nothing sprint can do but if i switched to nextel their sister company then i would have better service so i did but it took me no less then 2 months to get my phone and service where it needed to be they mailed me sprint phones which i could not use under nextel plan .it was a mess hours and hours of phone calls .. well i told sprint/nextel that i would contact local news station and all bets were off they were gonna finally make me happy . and they did until now
.in july 07 i spoke with amanda quiz in berry (not sure i spelled that right )and she gave me 2 free phones one for me and my daughter we each got 450 bonus mins thats a total of 900 mins each month that would never expire as long as i was their consumer .we also got call any three people for free as well as free chirp . all these years i ve changed price plans may times my bonus mins and such always followed .
in feb 2009 i belive my daughters phone broke she was ready as far as contrat goes to get a free phone .so she went without me and got one a month or so later i get a bill for double what my monthly bill was ...i called asap and found out that they changed my daughter back to sprint and added another 75 dollars to my bill each month i did not agree to this or even talk to a single person about this . they also took off her bonus mins of 450 . but left everything else. i was mad and told them i could not aford this and i wanted my account put back to where it was and i wanted what i was promised and had all these years its only fair .i did nothing wrong to lose my mins .i continue to renew my contract keeping in mind that i have 900 free bonus mins .i checked my online phone bill this month and i dont normaly do this but i noticed that my daughter only has 50 bonus mins now . so i called and told them everything i just wrote you all i want is it to be put back and left there forever as per my agreement with amanda back in july 2007.
they tell me that when my daughter was given a new plan it removed the free mins wellmy daughter was 16 it wasnt her account and i didnt agree to it as soon as i found i called and plan was changed back they put mins back in .. but this time they were only good for a year and would expire never to be there again i didnt not know that and was not told that . so now i sit here and i went over my phone bill last month186 mins which cost me 73.00 which they did refund because of their mistake.i would have never went over if i had the bonus mins /after 3 days of trying to get intouch with the corprate office being promised that they would call me back and they havent and i could not get corprate phone number .i called the better buisness bureu .they had number .i called last week and i was offered a deal if i pay aprox. 50.00 more dollars each month then i will have unlimited mins and bonus mins will not be nessasary .but they will give me a discount each month of 13.00 .i said no way thats not fair i just want what i had .the other thing i was offered was that if i wanted they would let me out of the one phone contract which means i have to go get another phone with another company for my daughter and thats then gives me 2 bills still not fair .i last talked to a tiffany pokejoy( 1866-727-0665 ) and she is looking into see what she can do for me but she doubts she will find something she said she understands what i am saying but putting bonus mins on takes some sort of code that sprint/ nextel does not have anymore . i should get a call from her by fri .im not holding my breath lol . so as ya can see im at a lost i dont know what to do i feel that im stuck cuz of my contract which i signed and agreed to because of the deal we had they told me that bonus mins are not part of the contract so i cant get out of my contract cuz they really didnt break anything on the contact. please help me im sure im not the only lil guy out there who is getting taken advantage of , i did get another call tonite from debbie broussard at the executive regulation dept and she read my complaint and said again she didnt think she sould do anything for me says that we should have never gotten those mins since 2007 we got lucky and that not only does my daughter lose hers but now i lose mine as well . what a joke i told her i will contact bbb and if they did nothing i would find a lawyer and sue them . she said that nothing is written in my file about when bonus mins expire but she cant explain why i have them either . what to do what to do ?????
