Avoid Avoid Avoid Shark Internet Marketing!

They present themselves as a link building service for SEO purposes. But once they have your money they will blast out forum links using an auto-spam program like sick submitter or similar. Shark IM has ruined a business I have put thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into.

I hired Shark IM to do linkbuilding in Feb of 2013. While on chat with "Peter" in Singapore, I asked them to not use programs to robo-blast links to forums, Peter assured me that this was something they do not do to begin with. I asked this because a large number of keyword links from forum pages appearing overnight is certain death in the Google listings. Satisfied that I had an intelligent marketer,  I then made my purchase. Bad move.

They then did exactly what they said they would not do.Within 24 hours, there were
- 38,470 inbound links from a Romanian forum, Fakecs.com, all with the same keyword linking to the same page.
- 2,232 inbound links from another single Blogger account.

My site is now penalized out of the Google listings, and they refuse to lift a finger to undo the damage. It would be as simple as logging into the account they started and changing the data. 

When I complained, they even had the gaul (or the ignorance) to tell me only I had the ability to change the links. To their credit, they did give me a refund, but I don't care about a small refund as the huge hit to my income stream they have caused through their deceptive practices.

They are all over the planet. I spoke with a man in Colorado at the 303 number, who according to an internet search may or may not live in Florida, the chat was out of Singapore, and the actual work is done God knows where. They are out of reach and know it.
