Mrs. Lori O'Pry is the director of the Stafford County SPCA.  Her love of animals is well documented.  Her personal abuse on the internet vis--vis cyber bullying is not as well documented.  Potential pet adopters from the Stafford County SPCA beware!  If you meet Mrs. O'Pry and happen to disagree with her on any particular topic, rub her the wrong way, get upset when the SPCA changes "it's" mind, or take exception with her, any SPCA employees behavior, etc., she will cyber stalk you and your family and post anything negative she can find online via Facebook.  So if you have had a traffic ticket, nasty divorce, false publice accusations made, etc be prepared for Mrs. O'Pry and her psuedo-n**i brown shirts to target you.

I have not personally suffered any attacks as of yet but I have seen several on their Facebook page, including one on a family member.  My sibling had a "colorful" past but has since cleaned up his act and is a contributing member of society as well as a very sweet soul.  Mrs. O'Pry decided to publish what she found in the public record on the Stafford SPCA Facebook page and make disparaging personal remarks as well.

Her behavior is unprofessional and immature.  How it helps the SPCA and animals is beyond me.  It's an unfortunate reflection upon our society that volunteerism is on such a decline that people like Mrs. O'Pry can not only be allowed to volunteer but rise to a "leadership" position in such a valuable organization.

Shame on you Mrs. O'Pry and shame on Mr. Bill Hoyt for allowing her to carry on her unprofessional behavior on behalf of what is normally regarded as a valuable organization!

Left Speechless...

AUTHOR: Jamie - ()

POSTED: Friday, December 27, 2013

Back in the early spring of 2013 my family was looking for a safe no kill shelter to place our elderly dog in. We got Stitch, a bechon, while living overseas and my mother not working, kept him for the 6 years we lived there and 2 years once we moved back stateside. However, due to mom going back to work, myself and my brother going to college and working, and my father working up in DC, we honestly didnt have to time necessary to take care of Stitch and wanted to give him to a home that would give him the life he desirved.

It wasnt an easy decision in the least. Stitch was appart of our family and we were torn, but ultimatly it came down to his standard of living and not being able to provide that for him, it was simply not fair for our dog and many tears were shead.

My mother contacted the Stafford SPCA to try and get him to a place where he could be taken care of and she spoke to Bill Hoyt, the director of the facility.

Mr.Hoyt wouldnt even hear of it, telling my mother to "get up off her a** and take care of the dog", then when my mother tried to explain that this decision was not made easily he explained to her that "he isnt her therapist". We wernt asking for therapy, we were asking for information on how to place our pet that we could no longer care for in a place where he would not be put down.

When asked if there was another person to speak with he repeatedly hung up on us and finally told my mother to "f*** off"! Never in my life was I so compleatly speachless due to the act of a GROWN MAN!

I called back from my own phone and asked how a grown man could do such a thing and he told myself, a 20 year old girl to "shut up your stupid c***, you lazy b*****".

I tried to call around and get more information on how to take Mr.Hoyt down a peg. But to no avail it is technically a private entity and not connevetd to any other SPCA organizations.

Most concerning is if hes talking to people in this manner what is he doing to those poor defensless animals that dont have a voice to speak with?

I have seen all of this on facebook as well and am very disgusted that Lori and Bill are doing this. He seems proud of the fact that he is the Executive Director and President of the Stafford SPCA and they seem proud to mention that they are their own entity and have no "parent" company so they feel they can do as they wish and won't get any repurcusions from it. I, as I'm sure others, have contacted the local newspaper and the ASPCA. The ASPCA is national level, SPCA is local level. Although the ASPCA doesn't oversee them in the sense of a parent company, it technically is a parent company. You can't just all of a suddent declare to have an SPCA and have one. Lori also felt the need to say that if there were any complaints to call her boss, Bill...lot of good that would do when he's throwing some of the punches on there as well. However it is Lori that is the major issue with posting criminal records. Although they are public, that is just not something that you do!  Just remember...karma is a b$%@&!  I only hope to speed it up for them.
