Tampa Bay Times Customers aren't the only ones they screw over St. Pete Florida

 Here's a little known fact that most of the customers of the TBT do not know.If you call in a complaint about your paper, the company does not absorb the cost...they pass it on to the carrier that delivers the paper.

For instance...you call and complain that your paper landed in the grass and not on your driveway...even thought your paper is THERE this company charges the carrier for this. $1.00 on Mon-Sat and $1.50 on Sun.

Here's another fact you didn't know. The carrier only gets paid 11 cents per paper Mon-Sat and 17 cents per paper on Sun.; and yet are being charged the full cover price, even if the paper was there and the customer did not see it.

And yet another fact to chew on. In Pasco county at this moment there are thefts of Sunday papers going on. The person has even been spotted by a customer and the company has been informed and is aware of the problem. But instead of helping the carriers by trying to catch this person, notifying the customers to be alert to a person roaming their neighborhood AND making sure that the carriers are not charged for something that is NOT their fault; This company instead charges the carriers, refuses to notify the customers (or let the carriers notify them) and is in effect doing nothing.

Carriers are out there in the cold, the heat, the rain, and even during tropical storms. You would think this company would appreciate the hard work for little money that these people do. They do it 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They can't take a vacation unless they pay someone to cover our routes. They don't get sick days, they don't get vacation days, if they don't show up they get terminated. And this is how they repay these hard workers. If you are a customer of this company PLEASE complain loudly, and threaten to cancel your account.

Please stand up for the people that work hard to help your morning start off right! Tell this company you're disgusted by the way they do business.
