Due to my urgent need for transportation so I could easily commute to work timely. I visited td auto sales inc on 3/16/2013 to purchase a reliable vehicle. Upon my entrance to the car dealership I was greeted by a sales man who goes by the first name dean. I told dean that i was looking for a good vehicle at a good price. He then proceeded to give me a tour of the vehicles he had on the lot. Eventually we came to an agreement that i will finance a beige 2001 nissan altima. I requested a test drive of the vehicle which wasn't granted to me. Before i could take notice, a couple more salesman swarmed around me in attempt to convince me that the car was a good car with no previous problem and it's a good purchase. This dealership practice very shady business. Before i could gather my thoughts on the decision i was making, they already had me signing paper works to purchase the car. While reading over and signing the paper works i was rushed by the sales man who informed me that i must hurry up because they have to close soon. This was a red flag for me that i might be making a bad purchase so i decided that i would walk out of the deal. But once again i was subdued by their sleazy tactics in which they swarmed around me telling me they would lower my monthly payments and that i would be passing up a great car. They also knew that i was in dire need of transportation for work, this they also used to their advantage to persuade me to purchase the vehicle. I unfortunately ended up buying the car with a $1500 dollar down payment and agreement to make $150 bi weekly payments. Two days after i purchased the car there was a very noticeable oil leak coming from a raptured hose. I called the dealership and was told to take the car in so they could check it out. I requested for the hose to be replaced entirely with a new one, but instead it was only cut a the point of leak and replaced back on the car. While their mechanics were changing out the hose i pointed out to them a possible radiator leak and bad squeaking coming from the front wheels. They brushed away my concerns and said the leak was only coolant fluid spilled over from when they put coolant in the car on day before i purchased it, and that the squeaking coming from the front tires were a result of bad hubcaps. After my realization of their poor business practice.I Informed them that i didn't feel comfortable with the car and pleaded for my refund of the $1500 i put down on the car. They refused to pay me back and told me i already sign the paper works towards financially being responsible to pay for the car. Without arguing i left the dealership hoping that i wouldn't come across anymore problems with the car. To my dismay, a week later the car started to over heat. I took it back to the dealership for the second time within two weeks of me buying the car. Not to my surprise, the mechanic said the car had a bad radiator leak. I once more told Mark the owner that it's overwhelmingly evident that the car is no good i deserve to get my money back. Still they tried to persuade me more that the car is good and they will replace the radiator . Feeling powerless, i left then returned to get the car a day later. Another two weeks past and not to my surprise the car started showing major break failures. I narrowly avoided two accidents where my car brakes failed. I've only had the car for a month and the dealership refuse to fix the brakes or refund me. Please help me. There's more to my story.

Since you ASKED for help.   Here is the last line of your post " I've only had the car for a month and the dealership refuse to fix the brakes or refund me. Please help me. There's more to my story."

So here goes.
#1.  They would not let you test drive the car.  That should have been your first red flag to walk off the lot, no matter how much the salesmen swarmed around you.  Just walk away.  I assume since you were legally able to sign a contract you are an adult.

#2.  You took the Salespeople's word that a 12 year old Nissan was in GREAT SHAPE.  You did not not even take the car in to have it checked out.  The amount of problems you indicated you had in the first month would have been discovered by even a FIRST YEAR Mechanic.

#3.  All used cars are sold AS-IS.  There is a big sticker PLASTERED on the window of each car letting you know there is no Real, or Implied Warrenty, so all of those problems belong to you.
In other words you are STUCK with this lemon, with NO RECOURSE.

This issue was caused by your own hand.  You were in a hurry to buy a car.  You ignored the fact that they would not let you test drive it, and you were swayed  by the promise of al "LOWER CAR PAYMENT".

In conclusion, here is my help to you.  Do not be this stupid in the future. When you buy a car, take your time, and test drive the car, then take the car to a mechanic and pay 200.00 to have the car  reviewed in and out.  This way you wont be writing letters like this in the future.

Has anything I said not rung true?
