The company deliberately over regulates their contractors so that they will quit. That leaves fewer couriers to share the pie. A trusted comrade in management explained this in implied confidence.

I am angry now because they have deliberately and openly refused to pay for some jobs. Failure to pay me for work done is gotten around by wording the contract in such a way to say I have to submit an invoice. They took my bill of lading then claimed that it got lost and so I'm "out of luck".

I have been an IDP (independent delivery provider) with Transportation Agent Grid for a few years. It's because I have superior P & D skills that I still remain.
