I was making a call to a phone company I usually use to call a foreign country. A lady intercepted my call and an automated machine told me if I am interested in $100 voucher for only the cost of $1.95. I was curious what it was and told myself WHY? then I press the number and a lady with a convincing voice came along. I asked her why? she did not answer but just asked me my name. I said what type of voucher is it? you can redeem at Walmart she said. I was more curious and gave her my address though I began to feel very unease but she was so convincing. Then she asked my birthdate. I began more suspicious than ever because I have heard never give personal information form a solicitor but she said I am not asking you your social security number, it is only against the security of the account and we can verify you if you call back, that kind of make sense and I gave to her. Then when she asked me my account number when I began more suspicious than ever. I always remember to never give your account number on the phone especially if it is a solicitor that came on to me not I called them. I said I have a discover card she said no we only work with debit or master cards. I was throwing than ever but was reaching out into my wallet and my laptop at the same time. I asked her where you at and what is the name of your company? she told me USA benefits. I googled it at the same time as I was reaching out my wallet...the first thing I read was RIPOFF REPORT USA BENEFITS. I just hung up! I searched again and I was amazed they have been in business since 2005? even before that because many people already complained then? Can this be real that nobody got into them yet and they keep running??? it scares me more to hear that because I Remember the lady said...we cannot use your card for anything malicious because it will damage our business but....here they are still running and scamming for years....Just beware....even the law cannot get them.
