Place an order with vintagehockeyclassics.com on Sep.13,2011. Got a call back from phone number 716-602-4787 who said his name was JAmes Heim. He took my order and I paid $200 via Paypal and he said it would take 8 to 10 weeks. I called him back in December and he never answered. I used his contact form on his website and he called me right back thinking this was a new order. He was surprised when I asked him where my jersey was. He said give it a few more weeks. I have tried several times to call but no answer. Today is March 16,2012 and still no jersey.

I agree. We definitely should not let this this stand. The AG office appears to have received multiple complaints about this guy and his company, which I have been told is enough for them to take action; However, it does not appear that they have done anything but try to call him for a comment (unsuccessfully; this guy doesn't answer). We need to call and inquire about our complaints and verbally complain and demand action.
Maybe, we even need to file our reports again. It does look like we may have made enough noise to scare him away from his website, but I wouldn't doubt it if he set up another with a different name. You can contact anyone via email at the AG office by doing the following: firstname.lastname@ag.ny.gov Just insert Karen Davis' name. She works in the buffalo area office if anyone wants to follow up with a phone call. Keep everyone updated on your results.

does anybody who has filed a complaint with the ag office have a clue to whats going on with this sh*t head? does anybody have karen davis number? ilooked for a**holes website but cant find it did he take it off and start another? i heard through the grape vine he try to scam somebody else by asking fpor money and making them a partnerdid anybody get any money from vintage hockey or is this just a smoke screen? anybody else still unhappy with thats going on let me know lets make more noise and let the ag's office know we are unhappy

I filled 2-complaints with the NYS Attorney General's Office: 1-complaint with the internet fraud department and another with agent, Karen Davis, who had reportedly received previous complaints about this company and individual. NYS' response to my internet fraud complaint was that there was no previous complaints on file about the company, so they couldn't act. They recommended filling small claims. Karen Davis claims to still be working on the case. I recently asked her what was going on with the case and I mentioned that their website was still operating, and she simply asked for the website address, which she should already know.
This doesn't seem promising in regards to getting assistance from the NYS Attorney General's Office. I recommend continuing to send complaints to the NYS Attorney General and maybe they will have to act. If anybody else hears anything, please post.

I was also recently ripped of by "James" and "George" of Vintage Hockey Classics or Niagara Frontier Sports. I ordered a jersey from them in September for $260, which was due to me in December but was not delivered. They do not answer phone calls or respond to emails unless you claim to by trying to place another order.
PayPal is no help help since VHC don't promise delivery for 10-weeks which is beyond the dispute window for PayPal. Credit card companies won't provide assistance with PayPal transactions. I filed a fraudulent claim with the NYS Attorney General's Office and I am waiting to see what they will do. I am interested in piggy backing any current efforts to keep these guys from ripping other people off.

Guess who called me last night? Our boy George Kuhn. He left me a message about how he was the customer service dept in his company and he should fire himself, blah blah blah. Offered up a full refund and told me he would get it out this week. He has proven to all of us, he is not to be trusted. Let's see if he redeems himself. Good Luck - Ken

The detective handling the case is Mike Kenny mkenney@tonawandacitypd.com - He said to get in touch with him and encourage any others that may have been wronged. This detective has been 100% professional and has been a huge help. Can't give you the details, but he seems to be on it. We will see. He said to call his office 716-692-2121 ext-309He said to pass his info on. Please feel free to post this stuff. If you want to call him to verify, please feel free. I don't think we will ever see our money, but if I can be a pain in this guys a**, I intend to do it. He may be facing federal wire fraud charges. Ken
