Graduated in 2007 with a BS (Bull S**) worthless degree in Information System Security. Have been battling with them ever since. How do they stay in business? Easy, they find easy marks and con them. How about all of the negativity on the web and the fraud and scam postings? They dismiss them as saying those are only from a few people who graduated and were not successful. How do I know this? I talked to a current Westwood student this week. He has been attending for almost a year and found one of my posts. Contacted me and I directed him to a few web sites where he can find the truth about this scam school and explained what they did to me. Havent heard back but he did seem extremely upset at Westwood.
Got to tell you Westwood that Im not one of those unsuccessful students just trying to bash you. You lied to me from start to finish. You scammed me good and ripped me off. I want what you promised me and hundreds of other students. I make very good money in the IT field but I hate throwing it away and being lied and stolen from. I am successful in my own right, not because I attended and graduated from your scam college.
Hows this for Westwood being a sincere educational institution?
They now refuse to talk to me or call me back. They make excuses and in one instance told me to blow off, yes, get lost.
They got their money from me and what did I get? $80K in college loan debt, college credits that WILL NOT transfer to any other institution and a BS degree that is not recognized. They wasted three years of my life and stole that money. I have had to start all over.
Even had a chance to meet with the Dean of Information Technology at a Success get together for Westwood College in Ontario California. Funny thing is when I arrived; I was the only alumni there until I left. Explained my situation to this Dean and he explained that people take these courses for their own educational knowledge. Really? People spend $60-80K on a worthless degree just for the heck of it? Seriously, give me a break. My intentions were to enter the IT Security field and then move forward with getting my Masters degree. Wasnt until after I graduated and tried enrolling into a real college that I discovered that the credits I earned would not transfer. Explained this to the Dean and he promised not only to help with the credit transfer but would speak to potential employers who would not recognize the degree. Guess what folks? After emailing him the requested information, I never heard back. Typical and that is how it goes. I challenge Westwood
representatives to call me. You know who I am, you have my number and email, hello?
Go ahead future students and attend Westwood. Watch your world spiral into a financial hell after graduation. Degrees are worthless and NOT recognized anywhere but at Westwood. For you shills out there who keep posting positive experiences regarding Westwood and about how great your classes are, start posting about life and how well you are doing 6 months after graduation. I have only found one positive experience regarding Westwood after graduating and it was from an employee
Thanks for nothing, stay away from this degree mill..and all other for-profit college rip-offs
