A few months ago I found an ad on Craigslist which requested someone to translate the Wordans website into Swedish.

I went into the workplace for an interview after e-mailing the boss of the company and recieving a reply. Upon travelling to the office in Montreal, I spoke to the CEO, recieved the files to be translated and shook his hand after he told me that they were glad to have me onboard.

I was told to contact the CEO a week later, which I did. That day he told me to call back in a week.
I called back in a week and he told me that he was in Miami, and that I should call him back the following week.
I called him back the following week and I recieved no answer.

Throughout all of this, I was constantly e-mailing the boss in order to see what was up. I never recieved an answer via e-mail, even though he later admitted to having seen my e-mails. I tried calling with spaces of two weeks in between, but I never recieved any answer while calling from my cell phone.

Now, a few months later, after waiting for him to call me back and "be ready", I finally called him from a different phone number than my cell phone. He answered, and after reminding him of who I was, he said, once again, that he was not ready yet.

I asked him if he needed me to finish them at all, as I was uncertain of if he still wanted the translation, to which he finally admitted that no, he did not.

Throughout all of this I was a student at school, and I wasted a number of possible studying hours completing this translation. I have recieved no financial compensation, and at the very least I would have hoped that the CEO of the company could have gotten himself together and notified me that he did not want the job completed.

I am highly unimpressed, and I feel cheated.
