active auto sales this company has two thousand dollars of our money from a down payment for a car that we only had for five days and they refuse to give us our money back when the finance contract did not even go through or was cancelled basically before it could even start. We want our money back but cant afford a lawyer and these people at active auto probably know this and probably rip others off also. roselle Illinois

went to active auto sales to buy a car, picked out a car , husband had to get financed , deal had not gone throuh becauser the finance company still needed husbands s.s card, in meantime car was not in good condition when i picked it up and i was told that it would be. Well it had no transmission fluid in it it had no antifreeze in it it had no gas in it, and i did not know most of this until i took car to friend to look over. Was getting bad feeling about the whole deal, We had to put down 2,000 and the salesman also said we owed another 500.00 due june 25th 2013.

Well i called the finance company to see if the deal had gone through because of the way i was feeling and the finance company said it was probaly not a good idea if i was having bad feeling since the day i took car off lot. Also the finance company canceled the whole contract due to the fact that i was not on the loan with my husband.

My husband agreed to bring car in and get our money back, the salesman jose said he would have to talk to the owner of active auto and that he would call us back well a couple hours later there was a tow truck in my driveway towing the car.They got the car and nopw they dont want to give us our money back. They offered my husband 500.00 out of our 2,000 that is obsered, I cant beleive that these people can stay in bussiness and do this to consumers. I really hope you can help us and that this does not happen to others. Thank you for reading this. Also my husband was never given the copy the long copy of the contract for the car.
