I brought my mothers toyota to All Transmission World because the transmission was shifting bad. The manager Rusty told me that he would have to take the transmission apart in order to give me a proper estimate which would cost just under $300. No free estimate. Rusty called me the next day 4 or 5 times to update me on his "findings".

Then I was given a list of parts that suposedly needed replaced to correct the issue. The transmission would need to be rebuilt. Estimated cost $3000. Rusty gave me prices of each part and told me he was getting me a "deal" on each one that only he could get. I actually priced these parts myself and found that I could get most of them cheaper than Rusty. Maybe I should be the manager.

At this point, moms transmission is completly disassembled,and we owe Rusty $300. Trusting thaat this work needed to be done, it was only logical to have Rusty finish the job. Rusty called 5 times that day explaining that he needed the money by the end of the day to ensure my moms car is fixed next week. Mom paid Rusty in full that day.

It has been 7 weeks and the car still has not been fixed. We have heard every excuse in the world as to why, most of which have proven to be strait out lies,while the rest are of admitted incompitence. Come to find out, Rusty wasnt even a part of the work being done, hes not even one of the mechanics. He is the Owners son, which I guess qualifies him to run a transmission shop.

Today, i was told to bring a new battery down the one in the car is no good now. They thought the car was ready for the third time since they rebuilt the transmission. I rushed a new battery 34 miles from my house    to the shop, they put it in , started the car, drove it around and nothing has changed from the day I brought it in! Still has the same problem and the mechanics have no clue why! On top of that, the battery that they gave me as my dead one isnt even the battery that was in the car when i brought it there. Nobody can explain that. there was a stock battery from Toyota when I brought the car in. The dead battery is an old greesed up walmart battery, go figure. Car is still there and nobody can tell me what is wrong with it,or if it even needed the 3 grand worth of parts and labor to begin with!
