Man called said his name was Mark McDonald, with a law firm that represents American Cash Net. Said that if I didn't repay loan that they would come to Florida and file suit and criminal charges against me. I tried to locate the funds they said they deposited, not such deposite ever made.

American cash net and Mark McDonald from law firm could only give me a routing number, why not an account number, because no deposit of $300 dollars was ever made. Thier phone numbers are Mark McDonald, 818-532-9007 and american cash net 213-533-2346. These people are trying to rip americans off and should be charged themselves.

I think it's connected to the Safe National Scam

AUTHOR: Jim Martin - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, May 08, 2011

A few months back, a "company", and I use that term very loosely, set up some fake payday loan sites.  Then he used the information obtained from those sites to send unauthorized checks to peoples accounts.

Does any of this sound familiar to you.

This guy has been calling me off and on for the past 3 months or so.  He has given me several names, including Mark Anderson, Peter Parker, and Bruce Wayne.  He has also given me several different company names.

Then I decided to have some fun of my own with this jerk.  I have unlimited calling on my cell phone.  Immediately after one of his calls, I started calling him.  20 times in a matter of about 30 minutes.  Every time he answered, I just hung up and called right back.

When I finally did talk to him, he asked me, in a very irate manner, why I keep calling his private number and if I am retarded.

The site he claims I got my payday loan through is www (dot) usacashadvance (dot) com.  He claims that I owe over $300 for this loan.  This is impossible.  In the state of Indiana, you can only recieve about half of one pay period, not sure on the exact amount.  I get paid weekly, and my paychecks come out to about $320 after taxes.

Don't worry about the charges he has threatened.  He has told me several times that he is going to send the police to my home and work, but noone ever shows.  I do recommend contacting your bank and letting them know what is going on.  And check your bank statements closely, the check sent through my account was only $25 and most people don't even notice it until months later.

Other than that, unless you want to have fun with him too, just hang up when he calls you with his middle-eastern accent.

That is all they are - those phone numbers are wrong. They seem to be calling from throw away phones. Tell them you KNOW they are scammers and tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine.
