I baught a jeep had to put down 4300.00 plus my trade in 1000.00. Test drove truck told salesman Chris shaking he said they just changed the shock so we believed him. Drove home shaking quit a bit on highway I'm too scared to drive my new jeep three days later broke down because of broken brake line had to be towed home. Had to spend 84.00 for part my husband had to install had to loose time from work 61.00 for tow truck. Got it home was going down road shaking continued my interior lights go out my dash goes out my left back window doesn't roll down.

I take it to Chrysler and they call us back to shop tells us looks like it is has been submerged in water we haven't even drove it very much at all haven't been able to take off top or doors cause working to much. Chrysler has the cluster(dash panel)off and a crap load of sand fell out. Then he shows us that the shock is not properly installed it is installed for the opposite side than they had it on which my husband had already pointed out. The shake is called a death wobble. Insteadbof Chrysler saying OK we can fix this and that he said take it back.

I called Jamie finance manager said owner would call me back no call next morning I called owner was there but on phone told my husband he would pay for the brake line but nothing else the cluster 642.00 the shock 100.00 cause now I have to buy another which I need a double stabilizer shock and today while just sitting there leak from the axle, bushings squeel which they greased to cover up. The brakes squeel. The diagnosis coated me 135.00,and nothing is covered in the extended warrent that came with the jeep it is only 90 days.

Baught the other brake line just in case this jeep is so very unsafe and all Jamie could say was I'll pay for the brake lines but that it is!!!! This is the 130+ point inspection??? They care about customers safety not. I will be hiring an attorney because I bought an jeep as is but was unsafe and falsely given info. Didn't get original manual that said on web nor did I get the description of what was done. I took these people as trust worthly and I run crews at work and a lot of project managers and employees would have come here but not now and have not heard anything from these people

Run This By An Attorney, Please!

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 20, 2015

You may wish to run this by an attorney as there may be very specific laws which govern the selling of flooded cars.  Even this slimeball dealership talks about it!  Please don't give up.  If need be, take it to the media!
