I had a broken insulated window in my home... The insurance company had John Anguish of Best Glass come to my house to measure the broken window. Best Glass returned a couple of weeks later to replace the window. The size and thickness of the window was correct but the color did not match. Now John Anguish with Best Glass wants to be paid again to put the correct color of glass in...... John Anguish apparently can not tell the color of glass...

None of the rebuttal is true... But the owner of Best glass called me and fixed the problem to HIS credit...He had the insulated unit replaced.. So if you have Best Glass replace your window make sure you talk to the owner.. I think they need to have a recorder on there phone system to see who is telling the truth... Thank You...

When John went out to measure the broken glass the customer told him that he was a glazier and that he had installed the windows about a year earlier. The qustion was not the color of the glass but whether it had a Low-E coating on it. The window only had a BB hole so John couldn't remove a piece to check for sure. The customer said he was sure there was no Low-e. Adding Low-e would have added significantly to the cost so he was quoted without.
Since the customer was a glass guy John took his word for it and ordered the unit wihout Low-e. When the glass was installed it was obvious that the old window did indeed have a Low-e coating as the tint was slightly off.
John took full responsibility for the error and said we would cover the cost of the glass but asked the customer to pay the additional cost of the Low-e coating that he was not originally charged for. The customer refused to take any responsibility and refused to pay the amount of the Low-e.
The rest of the story is that Best Glass replaced the glass for the customer at NO CHARGE. The customer, even though he was happy with the final product didn't bother to correct his post even though he promised he would. Now you know the whole story. Best Glass has a 23 year history of standing behind their work.
