Amazon Knows This Issue Was Caused By Another Merchant

As we spoke to you about, we did not advertise this as a 2 pack. The following is how Amazon works. That specific product can have multiple merchants selling it. The merchant with the lowest price ends up showing up at the top. In this case it was us. This product listing is created by merchants, in this case, we created the original product listing on Amazon. When we created it, it was for one bottle. We have 1000's of orders to prove we had it as one bottle. The problem with having multiple merchants selling the same product on the same page is that any merchant can change the information on the product page. A merchant came in and changed the listing to a 2 pack, not us. When we found out, I immedietely called Amazon about this. They said they knew it was another merchant that changed it, as it's recorded who makes changes to the listings. We have a case with Amazon because of this issue.
Here is an article from last year talking about this exact thing:http://letters.auctionbytes.com/cgi-bin/blog/blog.pl?/pl/2011/7/1311037314.html
"FBA sellers in particular are affected, as they then have to contend with the possibility of returns (particular uncompensated grocery or health/beauty items) when a buyer expects a different quantity than actually received. When quantities are changed, FBA sellers (if they even know about the changes) would have to pay to have items returned to them so they could re-package and re-submit."
I would be happy to get our Amazon rep on the phone with you to tell you that this is possible and does happen...and it's what did happen in your case.
I hope this helps show that we are telling the truth about this, and it's an issue with Amazon.
If you have any questions about this, please contact us at info@bestpricenutrition.com and ask for Jeff. I have been working with Amazon for about 7 years and this is not the first time this situation has happened.
Thank you,
Jeff Moriarty
