MY DOG AT AGE 1 HAS STAGE FIVE HIP DYSPEPSIA. "VET SAYS NOT CAUSED MY ABUSE". ITS GENETIC. HER DOGS HAVE MANGE.  AND MY DOGS HAS AN MAJOR  TAIL POCKET THAT HAS TO BE CLEANED OUT DAILY. I HAVE HAD TO TAKE THIS PERSON TO COURT AND JUST GOT PAID AFTER 2 YEARS!!! ID ADVISE YOU NOT TO PURCHASE ANY OF HER DOGS.

I was not even going to respond to this, but I need to protect my reputation and name. First of all, Mariah, we did not lose in court. The judge ordered us to pay exactly what we OFFERED to pay to help with Hoochs' medical bills. You were trying to get a whole lot more than that! Like $7,500.00, right? You were also ordered to pay us for LIBEL. Have you forgotten the meaning of that? Seems like you have because here you are doing it again. Anybody can research me and see that you are the only one EVER to have a bad thing to say about me or my dogs. I did all the proper health testing (including hip x-rays) but I am not God. I also have statements from your neighbors, that live above you and can see into your backyard, that say they witnessed on more than one occasion the dog being abused. Wonder if that caused any damage to poor Hooch? Like the poor kitten that was born with a severe hernia that you allowed to suffer for months, and the sweet pit bull you repeatedly bred that had tumors hanging off her abdomen, Hooch is destined to live a horrible life. I only wish I would have known these things beforehand...

We have moved twice in two years. Both times were due to our landlords losing our homes to foreclosure... Blessing in disguise because now we own our home!

Well We went to court and I won! These people owe me $1000. the judge saw that they were liars and caught them lying a few times during the hearing. We received the judgment  1 year ago this month and still havent been paid by mary or neil serratos. They are now in contempt of court and Im about to take them back! They will pay me my money. our dog is 2 years old now and wont live very much longer without a total hip replacement!!!
DO NOT BUY A DOG FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE. THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND DISAPPEAR. KNOW WONDER WHY THEY MOVE EVERY YEAR.

my husband and i purchased a pup from neil and mary on 6/12/10. we love our bullie lila and will be going back to them for our next dog, neil and mary were nothing but professional at the time of purchase. we meet and got to choose from all the pups they had at the time. as soon as we got home we had lila checked by the vet,  and recieved a clean bill of health, the vet was inpressed by our pup and said they dog was verry healthy. we have never had any issues, i find it hard to believe that after all these years of doing business that they would willingly sell a dog with issues. they were verry adimate about us having lila checked asap. we did our research of the breeder and the only complaint i can find anywhere is this one. kinda makes me wonder what was wrong with this lady, seems like she is looking for money or pitty. i don't normally post on sites like this but i felt the need to stick up for a great breeder with whom we have had nothing but great experiences with. we will use calicoast again in the near future, they have some of the best dogs in the state, thank you mary and neil for your awsome pups and wonderful support.

So I have had hooches hip xrayed and he was diagnosed by three different vets withthe worst hip dysplasia .
He needs a total hip replacement and is only 1 year old. We also did a skin scraping on what we though was a food alergy.
Boy was I wrong..its deradox mange. I have sent proof of all this and vet notes. To mary and neil and she still is calling me a lair. And is now trying to counter sue me in court. She should know about breach of contract and the ca. Puppy lemon law. Calicoast is the worst breeder I've ever heard of. Beware they just did to breedings in there muddy back yard. Trying to sell pups for $2500. But can't give me back the lil 500 I paid for hooch. I can hardley wait for court. She will look like an idiot.

I am now going to write about how awesome our boy hooch is....
He is so smart!! he listens so well to me and my husband, he is so very gentle with the kids. His best friend is our mastiff Irie, they lay together on the couch and clean each other.
He can sit, stay, speak, sit pretty, shake and give a high five.
He has his own crate in the dining room with a bed in it and he loves it, even with the door open he will go in for a nap.
He will lay there and let me look at his teeth, and lips, cut his nails, clean out his ears, wipe his face down and his wrinkles. He has a deep tail pocket about 1 1/2 inches deep that if not cleaned daily gets all nasty and itchy, he loves for me to get the gloves on and q tips out and clean it....then we dry it real good and use butt paste for babys or medicated power.....he knows it helps so he lets me do it.
We have been trying to take him to the park to work out his back legs and hips as the vet said it would help his hips plus hes looking a lil funny because the front of his body is big and buff, but the back is oddly small....he uses his front legs and chest to get up on the couch or up stairs and just picks up his back legs. We have to help him in and out of the car. But hes very excited to go. Then later in the night he whines a lot, maybe pains in his hips.......?....so i give him a doggy aspirin and a heating blanket for his hips and seems to help.
Hes on glucosamine, and chondroitin  food for seniors because it has a higher dose compared to the regular plus im buying him $37 bottle of joint ensure with msm, glucosamine, and chodroitin, calcium and vitamin c to help his hips also.
Our hooch is very loved and the most well cared for spoiled dog. And it breaks my heart to see him have to live with these problems. Vet said if his tail pocket gets any tighter and i cant get up in there to clean it it will have to be remove as well. Hopefully not!!
I do not understand why i am being called a lair and why these breeders cant act right and come see the dog, you can see by looking at him. Mary says shes seen my dog and assured me nothing is wrong....last time they seen him....neil commented on how his hips popped when he walked and how he couldn't frog them......
A real breeder wouild want the best for any dog they brought into this world....instead these people only want to deny and not face the truth.......Its only $500. thats what i dont understand. If i was only money hungry why would i pay $200 for an xray on his hips out of my pocket. ???......if i was lying? Grow up all ready....

hey guess what you stupid white trash little b***h. , i have all the vet documents and xrays to prove hooches problems  I showed you some one of them, the day sarah was there mad...remember...I even have all the emails we have sent back and forth. I dont want any money from you, you can even give it straight to the vet!! i just want our baby boy to be pain free and happy like he should. and how have i lost in court stupid we haven't even went....if you wanna walk you drunk little a*s up the hill one day you can see how f**ked up he is...remember we had to get him neutered because you wouldn't use him as a stub because you admitted he has breathing problems.

and there was never an offer of a new dog......and its been way to long now. we are in love with our dog hooch and he deserves to be happy and be able to run around like all the other pups at the park without stopping  for a break every 5 steps and tripping his self with his back legs, he cant run around and [play with other dogs without yelping out in pain when his hips are touched.
and ya he has a deep tail pocket, i care for it with butt paste and medicated power. twice a day. Thats fine with me and I know its a bully thing, however good bredders dogs dont have it. he is happy and loved. but needs to have his genetic issues fixed!!

First things, first... this person is not anonmynomous because she posted a picture of Hooch..Her name is MARIAH DUFRAIN and she lives two houses up the street from me.  She became a nuisance for me the very first day we moved into our new home.. Her sister in law purchased a bulldogge from me and Mariah realized that we were the people her sister in law got the dog from... Wow... She came to my house demanding that we sold her one because her husband was recieving a settlement from a car accident and she could afford it... I held her off for about a month and lied about not having a dog available because I was so distrusting of this person... I did in the end wind up selling her a pup and have regretted it ever since!  I swear Mariah got on an AKC website and saw the health issues that a bulldog has and applied that to Hooch.  The first thing was that the dog had an elongated soft palate and stenonic nares... then the dog had hip dysplasia, then the dog has tail issues, and now a spine problem!!! LOL!  I have seen this dog on several occasions in person and have assured Mariah that her dog is fine... She is nothing but a money hungry, lying, white trash person that wants something for FREE!  She feels that she should have Hooch's money refunded because we gave away MY keeper girl to a great friend of seventeen years because she had cherry eye and I absolutely won't breed a dog with issues that can be passed on geneticly. 

She claims to have already taken us to court... she did... And LOST.... So once again we will go to court and make her look like the lying person that she is and this time WE WILL have Hooch back and place him in a loving, respectable home.  I'm sure this dog doesn't have any of the issues that Mariah speaks about, but he surely deserves a good home!!  BTW...Mariah, the pics you posted proves he doesn't have Stenonic Nares, so thanks for the great pic of a lovely boy!  And I also want to thank you for your publicity because I have placed two puppies in great homes because of this!! :O)

I have purchased three Bulldogges from Mary and Neal, and I have found that they have honored their health contracts to the fullest.  I knew that going into being a bulldogge owner that there were certain health conditions that were strongly associated with this particular breed, I did plenty of research on the subject before purchasing a dog. Sure enough when out oldest pup came up with a horrible skin condition (one that we knew may happen, but spent a lot of money trying to fix any way) we were given the opportunity to give him back and they would refund our money or to keep him and try to heal the condition. He was our family member and I couldn't see getting rid of one of my kids if they had psoriasis. So we kept him, and he is 4 years old and we love him dearly, Mary calls and check on him regularly.
When you say that they were going to kill him, were you referring to if his life was so miserable (as you make it sound) that he would be humanely euthanized? Because if the dog is truly too "damaged" as you make it sound (ie: bad hips, soft palette), wouldn't that be the right thing to do?  It sounds to me like you want the dog but don't want to pay for him, and know that the courts are going to make you choose... The dog or the Money? Which do you want, cause you cant have both!!
Any way, We have acquired two more dogs from them that have NO health conditions.  I would recommend them to anyone that was looking for a Bulldogge. Just do your research and know what your buying before you buy...

We purchased a dog from these people. Signed the contract, got a health guarantee. Took our dog to the vet to be checked out and neutered, rabies shots ect. We had heard him doing some weird chocking thing, we had told the

they didnt seem to think it was a big deal. well when we picked or dog up at the vet they informed us that our dog needs surgery on his throat and nose. I took my documents to mary the breeder and she said to call around and get prices she would take it out of the price we paid. once i told her the prices i got she no longer wanted to help. it was still less than what we had paid for our old English bull

dog . I threatened with court. they got pissed and threated to take our dog in the night and kill it....long story short, restraining orders were sought and we are on our way to small claims court. also our dog has very very

hips and a in grown tail....but we cant even start to fix that until we get his soft pallet dont. they dont want to risk sedating him. so we got a dog full of problems....and he only 9 months old!!!! DO NOT
