Cy Fair Pools has built a poor quality pool and Scott the owner of Cyfair Pools has not returned any of my many phone calls. Every phase of the project I had to stay home from work and supervise the contractors because Scott refused to be on site.* Coping stones around the pool are not seated properly and have a hollow sound when tapping on them - they will come lose in a short time.* The pool light was placed in a poor location behind a wall and does not light the pool appropriately.* The water fall is more of a water trickle.* The cleanup crew left a large amount of dried concrete chunks in the yard everywhere.* The cleaner inlet for the automated suction clean is placed a location above a bench - which in time the hose will run the surface off the bench.* The plumbing was installed incorrectly the first time and the plumbers had to come out and dig it up and cross over 2 pipes. In the process they left the electrical tubing only a few inches below grade which is a possible hazard.* The side sprayers are still capped off and never installed.* During the digging of the pool Scott never showed up except for a few minutes at the end. The crew did not have any instructions other than an incorrect old drawing. I had to supervise the dig and show them where to dig and place benches and walls.* During the tile installation again Scott never showed up. They brought the wrong time and where delayed and ultimately we had to compromise on our tile decision just to get the job done.* During the peeblesheen installation again Scott never showed up - and they sprayed concrete on our window screens.* I have received no written instructions on pool operation and Scott has only told us bits and pieces of how to break in and run the pool.* The pipes are running up the side of the pool for the sprayers and are not installed inside the wall or at least plastered in some how.*** Scott refuses to answer my phone calls and will only occasionally text me. He treats the contractors the same way.

CyFair Pools

AUTHOR: Debbie - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, March 03, 2013

Would you really... I would not recommend CyFair Pools.  I had the same problems with Scott not returning phone calls or emails.  I was shocked to learn he was not available to supervise or check on crews because he held a fulltime job and built pools on the side.  He built a poor quality pool... the flagstone pieces vary in thickness and heavy rust spots that run into the pool when wet .  The pump had to be replaced within 14 months.  I could go on but you get the point.

Cy Fair Pools has handled all issues - I recommend them now.

AUTHOR: Terry - (USA)

Cy Fair Pools has visited the outstanding disputes and handled them well.  Building a pool is a major project and mistakes can be made by any one of the hundred contractors involved.  Its how those mistakes are handled by the business that make or break a good process. Thank you to Cy Fair Pools for addressing these mistakes and I would recommend Cy Fair Pools to anyone considering building a pool.

Some items have been addressed - but project still incomplete

AUTHOR: Terry - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, June 22, 2012

CyFair Pools has addressed some of the items on the dispute.  For a second time they had the loose coping stones reset.  The business refuses to speak with me so I'm not sure if they will offer to resolve the complaint.  Also - let me clear something up - my complaint used big words like 'never' and 'always' - mostly about Scott showing up on site.  He did show up very few times and only for a moment - to take a picture and leave.  I have been told by someone that he holds a job and does pools on the side - which would explain why he did not come to the site.  Had he told me this fairly important fact at the beginning of the project we could have worked thru it or I could at least know why he ignores my phone calls.  I have offered to meet with him at the office of the local BBB to bring closure to this but he has not responded.  I am particularly surprised that he does not even acknowledge the high-voltage power buried dangerously shallow in my opinion because the original plumbers made a mistake and had to dig up and reroute the pool plumbing.  I piled dirt over it - but in time that will wash away.

Terry Burnside, the customer, is making many false statements about me. Statements about how I
was never at his residence during the construction process. In my opinion, he wanted me at his home the entire time my subs were there. I made him no promises of that, as that is not the way I run my business. I have many
pictures that I took, which proves that I was on site, not that I need to prove anything. Additionally, I do not wish to speak to this man again because the majority of the conversation is either insulting me and/or what I personally am
or am not doing. Discussions seem to be overly emotional, to the point that Terry broke down in tears during one phone call. I am not a counselor, I am a pool builder. I have meet with Terry at his home and showed him how to operate
the system and answered any/all questions he had, he was never promised any "written instructions". As for the pool light, it was in the deep end where it would cover the most pool area, Terry did not want to pay for an additional light. The cleaner line is located where is should be, which is in the center of the pool. Both plumbing & electrical are done correctly. The sprayers are installed. I was there for the beginning, middle, and end of the dig. I do not need to be at the jobsite to watch the application of the pebble sheen. This pool is complete.

This pool is pool was build per contract. I will attach for you to review.
