I recently purchased some parts for my kids 4 wheeler. I had trouble finding the exact parts online. Because Cycle Central is so close to my home, I opted to try them out for the parts. I dealt with the owner about my inquiry. I brought my bad parts in to cross-reference. The owner told me i needed the vin of the bike to be sure he was ordering the right parts. This meant a 40 min. drive to where the bike was for the info. Came back later that same day and he found the parts I needed. They needed to be ordered from the factory and gave me the price verbally while looking at his computer. It was a little more than what I was expecting but thought it was worth it to get the right parts. So I paid for the parts and waited 3 weeks with no phone call. Finally called CC myself. The owner answered and told me somebody must have put them on the wrong shelf but that my cdi box and starter relay were there. I had my wife go in and pick them up for me since I couldn't make it before close. When I did get home I noticed the relay package was a totally different part from what I ordered.

So I went back in to the shop and asked if I was given the wrong part. The owner tried to remember the order and informed me that I ordered the wrong part. I told him that he never showed the order to me and that he ordered it wrong and I just wanted the correct part. He then went on to tell me it was hard to send electric parts back and that I might want to keep the part that was misordered because it could be the cause of my bad relay, that he would order the correct part and off set the price so I would basically get the wrong one for free. None of this sounded right, and he wouldn't tell me what I was paying for. Irritated at this point, I told him to just order the relay and that is all. He then took the wrong part for return and said he would call when the relay came in. I got back home a little confused about the whole transaction and realized I was never given an itemized receipt of my order and have no clue how much I was about to spend. About a week and a half later I got a call that my part had come in. Went back in for pick-up just to find out they misplaced the part again. The owner said they would find it and let me know later. One week later I got the call that they found the relay. I went back in for the relay, just to find out I owed 35 bucks difference for the correct part. At which point I asked for a receipt so that I could see what I was paying for. The owner then told me that customers usually are content with the credit card receipt and that he would have to look up all the items I ordered to print an actual receipt. Frustrated with everything at this point I had an employee just run my credit card for the difference and be done with the whole thing. Back home about 30 min later I realized that I didn't get my card back. So drove back in to Cycle Central for the seventh time to see if my card was left out. The employee that ran the card acted confused when informed about the card and after looking around the service counter, tells me its not there. Just about to leave and cancel my card, another employee comes out from the back and inquires about what is wrong. He asked what branch the card was and then ends up behind the counter with the other guy and pulls it out from the shelf right below the counter in broad daylight. It had to have gotten placed there by the previous guy for whatever reason. Thirty minutes was long enough to forget evidently.

Managed to get out of there without losing my cool. Got home and looked up the part # for the relay and discovered I just payed for it straight up, there was no credit from the wrong part, didn't get a receipt, made 7 trips into that place, took 5 weeks to get a couple of parts, got ripped off, treated like an idiot and almost lost a credit card. The owner acts like a crooked car sales man as well as the other idiots he has working for him. It is worth it to go to a legitimate motorcycle business if you need parts. Most likely they will get your order right and have a receipt with it. Maybe even get knowledgeable help.
